Great little welder

Awesome machine no matter your skill level.
First let me say that I am not a professional welder but this machine sure makes me look like one. I have used both the wire and stick welding processes on this machine with impressive results. I don't know anything about TIG welding but plan to learn in the near future. The settings on the inside panel make selection of settings simple. I have a large Fourney welder that has been passed down from my grandfather, but it doesn't work well with anything smaller than 1/4" and only does stick welds. Wish I would have bought this years ago!

Good for the home shop
Bought this welder for my home shop. Hadn’t welded in years. Took a while to educate myself on the set up but once you get it going it’s like anything else you just have do it a lot to get good at it.you tube videos are a great learning tool for this. I like the versatility of welding sheet steel and being able to switch to the stick welding for heavy steel. I am looking forward to trying the tig welding capability. All together a great tool!

This little unit works great for the smaller item I weld as a hobby or for personal use. Meets all the criteria of a good home unit!!

5 Plus years still going strong
Had this LEMP31 welder for over 5 plus years and still going strong. Used .030 and .035 flux core only in this unit. Taking the shield nozzle off really helps you to see your weld puddle! Be sure to get one of those black insulated covers for your gas diffuser! The only thing I really dislike is the wire holder spool off device. HORRIBLE design. Lucky I've only had one bird nest and it is impossible to un-tangle without wasting a lot of the wire. 10 lb. spool and you won't like your lovable luggable! Best tip I was ever given was, " if it has a steady sizzle like frying bacon Your good!" Better than hours and hours of testing on metal coupons for sure! Still on the original liner and gas nozzle. Watch that tension-er, Too tight you'll crush the flux core wire. Too loose and it will slip. Absolutely love this welder! Your mileage may vary of course. :)

Doesn't even turn on.
Black friday purchase at full price, got myself all ready for it and guess what.. Dead right out the box.
