This is THE ONE!!!
Maybe I'm a little overly enthusiastic about a water fountain, but if you've been searching for the "right one" then you know what I went through to get to this point. (Review of *this* fountain in paragraph 3, but if you want to see how I got there, read on) I originally had a PetMate, a little fountain, and it was OK, or I didn't know that I could do better (isn't that all of our problem in our 20s?). It was hard to clean, it always looked dirty, it got really noisy when the water was running low (although, my bad). However, the motor ran for years, and we ran it dry many times. It wasn't cutting it with the new dog, though. He trashed the water, he pulled it around all over the kitchen, and I was refilling it all the time. It was time for an upgrade.I did my googling, researching, consumer reporting, and I saw tons of fountains. I was looking for something with a larger capacity because we have more animals to water. I was tempted by something stylish, maybe chrome, something heavier because the dog pushed the other one around a lot. Low and behold, someone gifted us a Pioneer Pet fountain, the chrome one (the $40 one, which I thought was actually the $70 one, but now that I look at it more closely, this was the smaller one), that they had ordered, never turned on, but didn't like. I was excited because it was on my short list of fountains! I was really disappointed with it. It was lightweight, so the dog could push it around, the motor was somewhat noisy, the capacity wasn't as big as I wanted it, I saw the floaters in the water all the time, it was difficult to assemble, and if any animal jostled it, it started rattling, making it all the more noisy. Overall, it solved none of my problems.Enter this delightful product. The capacity is great, it is almost completely noiseless, it's adorable (I like the LED light, although if you don't, it might be easy to cover or deactivate), the dog doesn't push it around, the water doesn't look dirty, its SUPER easy to assemble, and SUPER easy to clean, and the debris and funk stays on the bottom and goes through two filters before reaching the pets (I never see floaters in the top). Overall I am 1000% satisfied. It didn't get enough credit on consumer reviews. I feel like I have a pretty good sense of comparison, this having been my 3rd fountain (although that does not make me any kind of expert). It's dishwasher safe, too! I would recommend this to anyone, regardless of how many animals you have. There are a couple of cons, but they might only apply to some people. The adorable little flower part of the fountain is easily removed, so if you have an overexcited pup, they might grab it and run off with it. It came with one replacement, so we are crossing our fingers that he doesn't grab that one, too (so far, so good; he seems to have no interest in the white one). I will be ordering or asking for more replacement flowers because he's kind of a brat and destroys all the things that I love when he's upset. If you don't have a dog, or if your dog is actually well-behaved, this wouldn't be a problem. And the other "problem" isn't even really fair for me to complain about because I'm going to gripe about something that was a bonus in the package. I wish the little mat it came with were larger. There, I said it. I complained about a "free" thing. Truly not worth an official complaint, but if someone at the company is reading this, consider this an opportunity to upgrade your product. There's so little else that I can complain about!I haven't had the fountain long, so I can't speak for the longevity of the motor, but I'm overall very pleased after a few weeks of use. I will update if this becomes a problem.

Good Quality Water Dispenser
This is an excellent water dispenser! It is very quiet and exactly as advertised! No spills, easy to assemble, and easy to clean. I also liked the LED light and the fact that you can see the water level. Sadly though, I am returning mine, because none of my 3 furries took to it. I left it out for a few days after I bought it, but...nada! I had high hopes that they would, especially our tabby 'lion' who jumps up on the kitchen sink to drink from the tap. But, he's just set in his ways, I guess. Anyway, the item itself was worth the gamble, so please don't hesitate to buy this and try it with your own furries. If they take to it, you won't be sorry!

The best one of those I've previously purchased
I have three cats, recently when I switched food brands (not a good idea), one of my male cats developed a UTI, thankfully that was caught in the early stages! Anyhow, I already had three water stations throughout the house, but decided to add a fourth, and opted to try this brand. We have hard water where I live, so, I have a water cooler with filtered water, and use this in the drinking fountain. I have cleaned it as recommended, although, I have found that the pump doesn't get all gunky as was the case with previous brands (I used filtered/bottled water with those as well). It was easy to assemble, thus that makes it easy to disassemble for cleaning, the included brushes also make it easy for cleaning. Plus, it is extremely quiet! All the kitties love it, they had to get used to it at first, I haven't had a fountain in about a year. I placed it on a tray next to the kitchen sink, which made the transition easier. They prefer this one over their other three water bowls.Previously, I had tried a couple of other brands (I won't name them here), twice I had to have one replaced, despite following the recommended cleaning schedule, the motor burnt out within two weeks. I've had this one about 6 weeks now, and coincidentally I'm purchasing another one (same brand) to replace another water bowl, with eventually having only drinking fountains for the kitties.

Cute foundation and cats like it!
Bought this about a month and a half ago. My cats definitely started drinking more water because of this! It took them a day or so to get used to what this crazy contraption was, but then they couldn’t get enough of it! The assembly and instructions included were simple, which was nice. It’s easy to disassemble if I want to clean the fountain. The only drawback for me is that I’m not sure if I can keep this on for a whole day or days at a time, or if it’s just supposed to be turned on on increments? Also, the first time I plugged it in, it was fine; quiet and no real issues. But when I had to change the filter out after 2-3 weeks, and I put it back together again it seemed to have some weird noise/the water would slow down after a while of it being on...it doesn’t necessarily interfere with its functionality but I find myself replacing the water every day with this. Overall, good way to get your cats to drink more water!

Keeps kitty hydrated!
My cat loves his water fountain!!! I think fountains help keep cats hydrated because they love the moving water. Also, there's a filter so no hair or gross stuff that gets in here which is cool. He has another regular water bowl in the other room with his food that I change out regularly but he likes to come in the kitchen and drink out of the fountain!! It has a pleasant, quiet fountain sound and it lights up so it looks super cute at night when he drinks out of it.I had read that most cats are actually dehydrated (especially those that only eat dry food like mine, he's very finicky) and that it was a good idea to have multiple water bowls throughout the house and to add an ice cube or a little broth sometimes to get them interested in drinking, or else to get a fountain. I'm a worrier and I didn't want to worry about his kidneys and him being dehydrated so I'm really really happy with this purchase. Honestly, I'm a little lazy too and it's nice not having to clean this thing out or refill it very often!
