Solo 8 - Hands-Free Hydration clamp with Bottle, fits Waistband or Running Belt

Clips over my compression legging waistband when I run. Don’t even know it’s there. Comfy and handy for hydrating on runs. Does exactly what I’d hoped.

I like that it's small enough to hold while running, and if I used the clip I assume it would bounce less than other water bottles. The connecter seems very sturdy, which would be a plus if I wore it on my belt.The one star review is due to: the opening in the lid that allows water out, does not keep water in, at all. I considered using the clip on my belt but didn't bc it does not become seperate from the cloth part, for washing and I sweat when I run. I believe these two downsides actually negate the benefits of using either the bottle or the clip.

The Solo 8 is a perfect water bottle for running or hiking. My husband and I each have one; it's easy to use, light, and convenient. Our daughter loves to use it when she runs.

I usually don't run with a water bottle as my location doesn't require it and if I hit the trail its a Camelbak or the like. I got this for a Ragnar Relay since it was recommended to carry a water bottle and several of my runs were in the middle of the day. I found that it held in place well when I attached it to both my running belt and shorts. It would splash a bit when totally full but adjusting it to slightly forward on my hip fixed the issue. It was easy to clip in and out and since I was primarily running on the road I didn't have a need to use the strap to keep it in place but I could see how it would be helpful on a trail run. Over all I am happy with the purchase, it kept my hands free for a great price.

I'm a recreational runner, I go out 3-5 times a week. I prefer a minimal gear, so I use clip on bottles that can just clip on to my shorts. These products are pretty bulky, the "paddle" that slips inside your waistband (I dont use a belt) is VERY large. But it is comfy...so that's good. The problem is that the bottle is held in place with plastic "tongs" that seem to fit the bottle well, but when you are out on the road, the bottles come out of the holder and fall. This happened to me 3 times on a 5 mile run. the weight of a full bottle seems too much for the plastic frame. I would not recommend these for runners. Good for walking probably.

Great product!! I highly recommend this to all types of runners. I have been through so many different types of hydration gear, and this by far, is the simplest and effective product I've come across. It is easy to use, attaches easily and securely to shorts/capris or a belt, light-weight, and durable. I like the hidden pocket to store small items. Overall great quality. I forget that I have it on me during my runs. It's so nice to not wear a bulky hydration belt or have to carry water in my hands.

This water bottle is not bad if you need a small amount of water and occasionally use it. I would call it adequate and not heavy duty.I use it for short dog walks. The clip lost tension when taking it off about the 50th time. Some part of it must have broken so there was no more spring tension. Now the bottle goes in my pocket but I end up spraying myself so it looks like I have a pee pee problem. Hopefully, I won't see any neighbors.

I was excited to receive this as we've been experiencing record breaking heat up and even my 4:30 AM runs are being affected. I am happy to report my excitement was justified, as this product exceeded my expectations but more importantly help solve my problem for better hydration. I would've given five stars but they lost the shipment for a couple days and then it just showed up with no warning, obviously a pleasant surprise,But I am so proud of my purchase of this, all I can think about is "Man, I could have had this extra bottle on my last to runs!" LOL
