With this adapter I can hook up my iPhone/iPad to my Philips TV via a HDMI cable. It is really simple to set up, plug and play no extra software or anything needed, just connect the adapter to socket via a power adapter. Very good resolution quality on the big screen, very convenient for watching game videos from my iPhone to my TV. It support almost iPhone/iPad models, I have tried my very old iPhone 5, it works amazing well. Also it does not support Netflix and Hulu because of the copyrights, it's reasonable for this price. Overall, I am very satisfied with my decision to purchase this product. What's more, don't forget supply power, otherwise it will never work.

This adapter exceeds my expectations for the most part. It really is plug and play because after commenting it to my iPad Pro and also connecting an hdmi cable to my flatscreen, it mirrored the iPad screen with very little lag between the two inputs no struggle or connection problems. There was a message that kept popping up on the bottom of my screen about downloading an EZCast app for firmware updates. But the app reviews were 2 stars, so you might want to do your own research about updates. But for a first run of about 2 hours of chatting, Spotify playback and some video tests, it works perfectly. Siri works well with the device too so you can still give voice commands to you device without a problem and the sound coming through the tv speakers is clear. I played Spotify for the test. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because when you plug in the adapter to the iPad, the clock on the iPad freezes at 9:41. Don’t know why this happened because plugged it in at 6 am and it was 9:41 on the clock until I unplugged 2 hours later lol. So you could lose track of time literally while using the adapter. But it perfectly mirrors you iPhone and iPad screen on a flatscreen in every other way. And being able to charge the divide while using was a great feature. Really makes the iPad user experience feel as good as a laptop or MacBook Pro experience. Would recommend this to someone who wants a good adapter and uses a different way of tracking time other than the iPad clock.

Bought this adapter trying to save $$. Followed all instructions for set up; did not play video properly (blank screen). Consulted video pro and even he could not get it to work. Plugged in true Apple product (after buying for 50% more), and that worked beautifully. You get what you pay for, and this product not worth the hassle.

iPad & iPhone shows up on the tv screen as promised, but when you try to play a movie from TV app, Netflix, Prime etc... due to copywrite B.S. it is unable to show movies or tv shows. Total waste if that’s what you’re buying this for. If you’re buying this for presentation purposes, yes it will work

Had problems from the start, never did get I-Pad and TV to sync correctly.
