Worked Exactly as Advertised!
I bought this to use with a Pro-Ject Phono pre-amp it absolutely worked as described! It was used in an overall high-end audio system, but not the "mortgage the house" type of setup. It's not like I was hearing a lot of audible "noise" or hum beforehand, but that's not usually going to be the case anyway. A better metaphor would be like having a dirty lens on your camera. It'll end up smearing or giving all your pictures a slight haze or fog. But until the lens is cleaned you won't really know what's going on. It could seem slightly out of focus, or like the air was a little heavy. This device did the equivalent of cleaning the lens. Everything just got a little sharper and with more "space" around vocals and instruments. I will probably be getting one for our Fire Cube next. Setup could NOT be any easier, and it has an indicator to let you know if you have a reverse polarity situation. (Plus a large range of adapters to deal with compatability).

solid piece
I picked this up because I couldn't find a 12v 3a solution for me at a reasonable price so I decided to work with what I had this was for my Gateway/ Verizon router and not for my audio system per say and it does work even for the audio. I also picked up an Uplink cat 8 ethernet cable that goes To my streamer from my Gateway at the time and it further improved my signal. Ifi makes some nice stuff ill keep trying things to improve on the signal high up in the chain , garbage in equals garbage out so anything you can do to improve the signal and or the data stream or power from dirty smtp's is worth a shot. you probably won't hear much spending more because of the law of diminished returns kicks in. but as a tweaking hobbyist audiophile these things do matter so get one and play around with it , it just might lower your noise floor a touch

worth the purchase
very dense and very well made. i inserted it into the power input of my DAC and low frequencies are more shaped and less muffled while higher frequencies are somehow more audible without any eq or manipulation.

Great product and must have
Added this to my Nvidia shield. It's a 19 volt i-fi does not make a 19-volt power supply so add this inline to quiet it down just like their product so sweet! Great product!

This makes devices costing hundreds sound like they cost thousands!
Cleaned up the DC power to a Silent Angel Ethernet switch driving my Roku Ultra tv box. To connect a second iPurifier2 to the Roku, I had to replace the Roku's power supply with a IBERLS wall wart that includes additional adapter plugs that didn't come with the iPurifier2. This is also available at Amazon. That adapter's output plug fits the iPurifier2's input, and the 90° adapter with the orange tip fits both the iPurifier2's output and the Roku's input. The barrel of the adapter that plugs into the Roku's input is slightly longer, but doesn't hurt anything. I was expecting only subtle improvement at best, but I got more than that. Movie scenes now sound more like I'm there at the filming and less like a recording of it.

Not working but killing
I bought this item to connect with my turntable psu. After I connected it to the turntable, I tried to turn my turntable on but won’t turn on. I check the dc adapter that was connected to this iFi DC iPurifier 2, it was very hot. Immediately, I pulled it off from my device. Now I have two non working devices: one is this low price electronic gadget and my hifi turntable. This one did not only working, but it also killed my turntable (at least the power unit of the turntable). I called Amazon customer service, and they said “So, do you want a refund?” -.-

Reverse Polarity Connector
CAUTION: Looks like one of the supplied connectors (white colored) reverses the polarity. This is by design but is poorly marked. This should be posted in BOLD RED LETTERS! Hooked to a NUC @ 19 volts. NUC would not power on, iFi got extremely hot and fried. Fortunately no damage to NUC.

It worked for me.
I moved the Roon Core from my iMac to an Intel NUC working as a server. That added noise to the streaming chain. I placed a DC iPurifier inline the switching-mode power supply of the NUC. The noise in the background was reduced to nearly where it had been. The DC iPurifier showed how important a quiet power could be for a music server.

As a happy user of ifi products, there was no doubt in my mind this filter would work. The only question was, is it worth the outlay? Some reviews said the gains were well worth the investment and others claimed it's all just snake oil. One in particular provided before and after graphics that indicated the ifi DC filter degraded sound quality. Well, I use my ears to judge audio kit and this filter does a fantastic job. I first fitted it to a SOTM MSM-200 music streamer. This is a well-respected device that, frankly, disappointed me a little at first. I had since upgraded it significantly with a ifi iPower X PSU and ifi USB reclocker. Both are very good and improved the sound quality of the streamer a long way. As I was already using a ifi PSU, I didn't think there would be much left to filter. It turns out even a good PSU still needs help. With the DC filter fitted, clarity across the board took a step up. Treble and depth of the soundstage were immediately improved. It was not a case of hearing things I didn't know were there. Rather, every instrument and voice sounded more like I knew they should and there is a real sense of depth previously missing. My next test was an Amazon Fire TV cube. I had already replaced its PSU with an iPower X and gained a slight improvement in colour and image sharpness. Just not as much as I hoped for. The DC filter delivered all that in spades. I really was surprised my TV was capable of displaying such a good picture. The filter will be staying on the Fire TV cube. To sum up, I would say I know of nothing at this price that delivers so much. The only problem I found is I now have to buy more filters.
