Boiron Cantharis 30C, 80 Pellets, Homeopathic Medicine for Blisters with Burning Pain

I bought Cantharis to try to help with severe bladder pain from an IC flare. I took three doses (5 pellets each) about 15 minutes apart the day I got it as a ‘loading dose.’ I woke up the next morning and the pain had reduced by 90%. I took two more doses to completely get rid of the pain and then stopped as I read that if you continue to take it once you are better it can have a rebound effect. I’m so so so grateful for these little pills! I will say that it did not get rid of the constant urgency with IC but it did help. I used other methods to help with that (acupuncture, herbs, teas) but it definitely pulled me out of the 911 horrible flare pain so I could actually sleep and function as a human being.

This is exactly the same thing that you would get if you went to a health food store or a Whole Foods, sprouts or someplace like that. I was really glad to see that I can get it without having to make the trip out there to get it. I have found that the homeopathic remedies can be very helpful, especially when I want to avoid taking antibiotics as I have allergies to them.

Homeopathic Remedies are worth the try

As soon as I received this product, I dissolved 2 tablets in water and syringed it into my cat's mouth. By the 2nd dose several hours later she was finally using the litter box like normal. I gave her a third dose before bed. To be fair, I've also been using HomeoPet UTI drops for the last 5 days as well, and I think that product works really great, too. But it was after Cantharis that I really noticed her pee was back to normal (again, could be coincidence, not sure). Saved myself a trip to the vet as well as another $400! She was just there 4 weeks ago for the same issue, just for it to return. I have done a lot of research regarding this issue and the homeopathic route of dealing with this is the way to go. For those of you who use this product for your feline(s), I would recommend 1-2 pills dissolved in water and syringed in the mouth 3-4x/day. Once the symptoms get better you can ease back to 1 pill 3-4x/day until symptoms are cleared and then you can stop. You really just have to use your best judgment. I AM NOT A VET but have done a tremendous amount of "research" on this. Don't touch the pills if you can avoid it, simply dissolve and syringe. The packaging is different, you have to twist it in order to get the pills out. At first it was a little confusing but you get the hang of it fast.

I trust Boiron. Ordered for my older male kitty, who is peeing on everything. He's strictly indoor. Seems like he has a UTI so a friends recommended a strict protocol of soft food with water added (1:1). She also said to add these to his water. So far, 2 days in, he's still peeing. Time will tell but I suspect a vet visit will soon be warranted if this doesn't work.
