I spent way too much time researching for a makeup case. I ordered one that had adjustable sections and it was nice, but the sections took up room and added extra weight. Realizing that I don't need my makeup 'organized', just all in one place, this case made perfect sense. I LOVE IT!-It's nicely made and I believe it will last quite a long time. Nice quilted fabric, lined and it does provide some padding for protection, which I like.-The top zipper opens to spaces for brushes, pencil type items and so on. I am not a brush collector, just have what I need which is 2 IT Cosmetic brushes with double ends along with brushes for blush, lips, eyes and so on and they fit great.- The main compartment has 2 interior end pockets that I've used for individual Mac eye shadows and sample products.- The box portion is huge and holds my pallets, blushes, lip sticks and foundations.- With the light color lining, which I guess is a nylon material, its easy to see what you have and not have to fumble for things.- This would be great for traveling! It would fit right inside a suitcase or carry-on. I can't imagine not being able to fit the extra odds and ends we use for the 'beautification (~.~) process right inside.- Yes, it came nicely wrapped and boxed, which is nice in this rush of a world today.- I absolutely recommend this case for home use and travel.- I don't think this would be so much what a true make-up artist would want for being on the go along with having a lot of product.- I also don't think this would be the case for those who love to have a huge brush collection.** I didn't take pics but I can tell you I have quite a bit inside this.1 Foundation (Chanel) Bottle 1 IT Cosmetics Primer1 IT Cosmetics Translucent Powder Pot 1 Bare Mineral T. Hairbrush, toothbrush and all of that would still fit in this for traveling. And more! It's not heavy and I'll be adding another large pallet and foundation bottle soon. I doubt that will reach the 1/2 way mark inside.I'm really pleased with this purchase!!Hope that helps, 'cause I found it to be a real pain trying to find the right 'home use' cosmetic case. I do keep all of my skin care products separate on a vanity carousel.

As someone who makes weekend trips frequently, one of my biggest challenges has been finding a beauty bag that fits everything without having to bring multiple bags on my trip. And let me tell you, it has been a lifesaver for my last minute weekend trips.The double layer design is so nice because I can put makeup brushes, concealers, eyeliners, etc. in the top layer and save the bottom layer for eyeshadow palettes, blush/bronzers, primers, and even perfume!
