U.S. Tape 58877 Line Wiper, Aluminum, 1" x 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"

I've been gauging tanks for decades and started at a new company that didn't have wipers on their tapes. This fit the bill. Mine came with round wipers. Buy with confidence.

Works as expected. Kind of a pain to install but worth it. It does a good job wiping the oil off the tank strap so you don’t have such a mess when you reel it in.

In the picture it shows it comes with the round wipers and when you get it, it actually has the square wipers which aren’t as good.

Yes, it works ;) I don't know why more people don't use these things. I got it to try it out, and it is vastly preferable to using up a ton of rags when dealing with that nasty compressor oil. Works perfectly, just go ahead and buy it.
