Workhorse
I've been using these for hydroponics and they are an absolute workhorse. Very well made and durable. I just keep washing and reusing them with no problem

Great, but wrong canning jar size.
These net cups are very sturdy. They're capable of holding any appropriate medium amd can easily be trimmed to accommodate cloning collars. Though they fit normal/small mouth canning jars (with the ring on), not wide mouth jars as seen in the pics.

With a few cuts, fits Gardyn 3.0 yPods
I use a strong pair of kitchen scissors (able to cut chicken bones) to cut out a rectangle just under the rim, between two verticle ribs, and then again exactly opposite. This lets the cup sit firmly in the Gardyn's yPods. I like the generous size of these cups for both Kratky mason jars (with an etsy-bought adapter) and the Gardyn. Cloning collars also fit in them very nicely.

Worked well in my 3 Tower Gardens after cutting some of the rim off
I read in the reviews that these worked well in the Tower Garden. At first, when I saw how strong the plastic was, I thought I might not be able to trim part of the rim off, but using an original TG net pot as a guide, I cut two notches with my Dremel and a regular scissor did the rest! The only reason I did not give it 4 starts is because the company name is on the rim, and I'd prefer it wasn't. But it is not a big deal, they fit well in the tower and serve the purpose they are meant to. Much easier than cleaning used ones and the price is worth it!

Sturdy and good net cups
I just started using these for a DIY hydroponic planter and they are doing great. When starting seeds, you just want to make sure you have enough grow medium or the seeds will fall through but it’s not a big inconvenience.

Good for DIY cloners✌
I've been using these for a while now. I initially got them to use in a do-it-yourself cloner and also to use as net pots with hydroton in an aeroponic setup. I didn't really appreciate them until I bought some other net pots from a local store. When I tried to cut the bottoms off of the local ones a lot of them would break. It's also hard to cut the bottoms off because the part that's like a net the plastic is a lot wider. So even if you were going to use them as net pots the ones from the local store would be blocking more airflow and water spray. But the ones that I'm reviewing the plastic in The netting area is pretty thin yet thick enough to be durable. So it would allow for a good airflow and spraying in aeroponics. I found it very easy to make Clean Cuts with a razor knife to cut off the bottom how you would for a do-it-yourself cloner. The top part is thick plastic with a nice thick rim. I didn't have a single one of these break on me when I was cutting them down

great for a dyi dwc
If you plan on making your own deep water cloner. These are the right pots to use with the black foam inserts (also available on Amazon). These are close to the 2 inch advertisement. The foam pucks are a little tight, but do fit.The inserts will stick out about 1/8 inch once pushed into the pots.Excellent price and very good quality plastic.Would highly recommend.

Great for use with 2” foam/neoprene collars
Recently swapped from Rockwool to foam collars, and the 2” version fit -perfectly- with these net cups. Highly recommended, quality is good and price is great. This cucumber only had a single straight root after starting it in soil due to running out of Rockwool, this is 4 days later very strong root growth even without Rockwool medium. No worries of algae either!

Sollidly built for such a small unit.
The pot fits well in my diy cloner.I had to cut the bottom out of all units to accommodate the cut clones.
