JoyDaog Jean Belly Bands for Small Dog Diapers Male Reusable Puppy Wrap Pack of 3

Helped a lot with my little guy’s lapses in “manners”. I had my little white Maltese mix for 9 years after finding him in miserable condition on the side of the road on a hot TEXAS day. He had heart worm damage and quite a few other issues. He was my shadow all these years. It’s been a struggle but I’ve kept him comfortable, even giving him my inhaler (in a baggie) when he had trouble breathing. When he started peeing anywhere he was, I got these belly bands. The pad inside was SO EFFECTIVE at holding the moisture (away from his skin) that they wouldn’t dry, even after 3 or 4 runs through the dryer. HOWEVER, they looked so cute on him, I couldn’t use anything else on him so I cut the pad out & used incontinent pads in them.My little guy passed away 3 weeks ago & I appreciate the makers of these little blue jean “look” bands for keeping him looking cute & feeling clean.

These are not particularly absorbent but that's not why I purchased them. My puppy had excitement urination issues and I bought these to prevent accidents. I used them with microfiber towels to catch any potty training accidents as well. They won't leak if fitted correctly, but they can get saturated and will weep urine if your dog lays on something like the carpet. So check frequently when your dog is wearing them for accidental accidents while housebreaking.What they ARE is very well constructed and adorable. I found it easiest to have 6 on hand so I wasn't constantly washing laundry but you also don't want to let these linger too long soaked in urine or you're never going to get rid of the odor. They are very easy to wash, just turn them inside out with the velcro secured and toss them in the washer. Mine were also dried in the dryer on low heat with no shrinking or popped stitching issues. Had he not outgrown them I can see them at least a year with daily use. I purchased Mediums when he outgrew the smalls and thankfully I don't think we'll need the large size as he's outgrown his toileting issues and nearly housebroken.

Update: I've spent the last two hours chasing down my puppy and putting the diaper back on. It's cute, I love the idea, but I don't have time to put it back on over and over. The fabric is way too slick to work and it slides off no matter how much I tighten it. I even tried a secondary measure of securing. The issue is not the fit, but the fabric.Extremely hard to measure a squirming puppy, but I got the job done. Bijou is somewhere between 9" and 10" in the required measurement area so I took a chance. Fits him well, but won't for long, I fear. I'm using two inside liners to cover the whole diaper and keep them fresher longer.If he still needs these when he needs the next size I'll get another set. He's a smart little guy so I don't see that being necessary since he already, and has since day one even though he's only two months old, done his number two in his potty place without prompting. Next comes pee pee in the potty place, right. He already hits it nine out of ten times so we're doing well.

Oh my god! These are life savers! My puppy would not stop peeing everywhere in the house. It was months of cleaning up pee everywhere until I discovered diapers for dogs. I originally chose these because of the jean look which i like but these are awesome. I had a toy poodle 6lbs and i bought the small. These absorb very well, no leakage. I just trow them in the washer and dryer and keep reusing them. I bought disposable diapers but for some weird reason when my puppy would pee it would somehow not be in the diaper. Im not sure how that would happen since the diaper was positioned right. Ive never had those issues with these tho. I love them so much that i bought a second pair. I will be ordering a couple more soon.

These are very well made, great quality soft knit, lightweight and not bulky! We have a 17 lb. 8 year old Westie that even though he is housebroken, he would leave a little puddle somewhere around the house when he was left alone for a few hours no matter how many times we took him outside first. We were pretty certain he did it out of boredom or just from being left alone. We purchased a size large according to the sizing chart along with his measurements (18") and they fit great! There is a large velcro piece that enables full adjustment. They wash very well...so far he hasn't had any accidents while wearing these which goes to show you how smart dogs are! Our Westie is ok with wearing them, not totally in love with wearing them, but it's been a week and we see his getting used to it now. He did not like the bulky paper disposables so this was a great option. No more marking in the house, no more puddles, what a relief! We are very happy with this product and we will be purchasing more as needed!
