Easy install and easy connection to my WiFi and Alexa. My daughter and I spend hours playing with the different modes and colors. Our favorite was connecting it to our cellphone microphone microphone and the lights change and flash according to the music we played. You can even create your our custom color and color combination! The light strips comes with a self adhesive backing so mounting it is a breeze. I have never worked with led light strips before and found connection to be a breeze although I had watched YouTube videos on how these strips work, don’t expect instructions in the box because there is only a 2x2 little pamphlet with WiFi instructions but I felt prepared. This product exceeded my expectations

If you look at my reviews, you'll see I've reviewed several different types of LED lights, from the high end brand names ones to the very low priced ones, I've tried them all.This is a particular strong set in every regard that will matter to you. First, everything is put together very well. The strip is heavy and solid. The lights are evenly spaced with a good deal of precision (trust me, this sounds like a non-issue but many get it wrong. Few things are more frustrating than going through the effort to set the lights up and then see a few of them that are unevenly spaced - at that point there's very little you can do about it). The adhesive is strong and will absolutely stay put if you apply it to a clean surface, but you can use your own two sided tape or mount if you want and still have everything stay put.Most LED strips come with a remote and that remote seems pretty standard, you can typically use just one control to manage several different strips. This one however has the added benefit that you can also use the app to control it. And that makes it all the more easy to group with other items on smart switches to create scenes or rooms. Sure, you can get much cheaper ones and just put them on a smart switch, but this saves you a step and I would strongly suggest you spend the extra money for these b/c you get much more than you pay for.The remote as well as the app lets you take quite a bit of control over the lighting. You can control not only the color but also the brightness and you'll be able to find several schemes that you'll like. Additionally, the brightness on these is impressive. Furthermore, they don't get really hot (I've had other strips that I started to get concerned might melt).The last thing worth mentioning on them is that yes, you can add other strips at the end, you can cut them if you don't need the size, you can do just about anything you want with them. And b/c the background strip is so strong, you can put these up and pull them down and repurpose them without having to be overly careful about it.If you are looking into LEDs light, you'll likely see the lower end ones that are about 1/3 the price of these, or you'll see the name brand ones that are around a few times more (for 32 ft I think you'd be looking at my 4 times the cost). Having bought the whole spectrum and created lighting scenes in my house that many people are amazed with, these are by far the most practical, versatile and just overall pleasant to work with. Without making something up, I can't really think of anything I don't like about these or anything that could be done much better.

So these seemed pretty durable and the complete kit made the process a lot nicer. Wifi works really well. Downsides: There is no actual white color. The closest you can get is a kind of blue. Luckily I didn't really need it for the white. Also, the colors in general are not very "true". You have to mess around with the color wheel on the app a bit to find the color you want. The LEDs can vary from light to light, but they sort of wash out to an average color.

This product is exactly what I was looking for . Its flexible rubber lighting makes ease to install on any custom installation . Couldn't be happier !! definitely down load the App for more creative ambient uses.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Yes, its water proof! LED app is ok.Over all the LED lights work very well. I love the fade function very smooth transitions between colors.I do not like the fact it asks for location services; it is not needed to use product.The adhesive is questionable. Be sure you press the entire area of the LED strip to make sure it is stuck on the wall or device its stuck too. Overall, great product and I (JoeteckTips) recommends it.

I put these lights up and was initially very pleased. I played with all the settings just to see how they worked, and found I enjoyed the "Fade" & "Smooth" features. After a few minutes, however, the light changed to red and would not fade into any other color on both settings. I switched to flash with no response from the strips. When I switched to strobe, they flashed white once, then turned themselves off. I thought maybe some of my connectors had come loose, but I reconnected them all & still no change. The solid colors and dimmer still work, but I'm disappointed that I cannot use the features that supposedly made these strips unique. There was also no troubleshooting guide available anywhere. Since I've already split the strips, I can't return them. If you're looking to spend the extra that these cost for access to these features, learn from my mistake to skip these and choose a set that are more cost efficient.

THE GOOD:The strip is brightColors are vivid.Adhesive sticks very nicely to wood and seems to stay put (which is usually an issue with these products).THE BAD (very minor):1. The fade from color to color is too fast and cannot be controlled. It stays on each color for 2 secs - should be more like 8 secs.2. The supplied remote has too few options. Namely, ability to slow down the transitions would be nice. A sleep timer would be nice too.THE UNKNOWN:Haven't used the wifi feature yet.THE BOTTOM LINE:Excellent product. Will order again for my next project.

YGTBKM. The description says you can run two strings in series, but it doesn’t work well that way. The second segment be dimmer and a different color than the first! See photo, and you’ll notice that the first segment in the foreground is brighter/whiter than the second segment laying just behind it. It was enough of a difference to make them unusable in series. Works better in parallel, but then the length is quite limited.
