Strive Footwear Maria Buckle Pewter 5

I am so pleasantly surprised at how much I like these shoes, how absolutely comfortable they were right out of the box (no rubs or blisters!) and how well- made they seem. Despite exhaustive searching and researching supportive footwear, this was the first time I had heard of this brand, and I was hesitant to buy them because of how few reviews there were and how little I could find on this brand. The contoured foot bed is outstanding, and they have just enough flexibility so as not to feel too stiff, unlike the Birkenstocks that I just returned. I have terrible foot issues with a history of plantar fasciitis and bunion surgery less than a year ago, so this brand, which is new to me, is a real find. My only negative comment is that they squeaked unpleasantly (embarrassing sounds) for the first couple of days that I wore them, but that problem has seemed to disappear.

great support! the title orthotic is right! yet it has the classic, non-bulky style!

This is my third pair and love how my feet just say ahh when I put them on even if my feet are tired and ache.

I wanted these sandals last summer but because I wear custom orthotics most of the time I didn't think they would work for me. I finally ordered this spring. The shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I have worn them for hours with no foot pain. YAY

I have worn them all summer an they still look new. i have wide feet an they fit very comfortably.

These shoes fit like a glove. The leather is soft and lush. A very attractive shoe on also!!

Felt wonderful on the feet when first put on...……..will not buy any others from now on.

My second pair of Strive sandals - different style this time and not quite as comfortable. Same lovely soft leather but this pair has cross over adjustable straps which are uncomfortable on the top of my foot - one foot only so feel it's the foot's fault rather than the sandal! I'm wearing them around the house at the moment and hoping the leather will gradually stretch a bit. Otherwise would have rated them 5 stars.

Very uncomfortable footbed but others have not found it so. Rather wide fitting too.

I tried them despite the earlier review. They are a great fit. However I do have narrow feet. I have subsequently bought another pair, different styee and they are way to big and have to be returned. So they are not consistent with their fitting.

No good for wide feet, should have returned them. Otherwise a nice sandal. If width fit had been ok a sze down for half size also.

Ordered sandals as I suffer from Plantar Fasciitus as well as a fallen arch - they have really helped with the condition. Well structured, supportive with lovely soft leather.
