Tibetan Singing Bowl, Meditation Sound Bowl With Dark Brown Mallet

The bowl itself is beautifully crafted and had great energy, yet the sound was kind of low quality. So if you are looking for a loud singing bowl, then consider buying something else.

After reading many reviews of the sound quality of some bowls I was cautious. However I read reviews of bowls that were over 20.00 with bad sound quality so I figured I'd try this one. It sings fine and works well for a beginner.

My first singing bowl, and it is just lovely! I was skeptical due to some of the negative reviews, but after spending some time with my new treasure I am sure most of the negative reviews are due to user error. Makes a lovely sound once I got the technique down. Will purchase more from this store!!

The only reason I gave us four instead of a five is because the ringing sound is not as full as I had hoped. It is a good value for the money. Perhaps it’s because I got a small version. Some of my friends have ones that have a very full sound. My wife and I said each morning and kind of check in with ourselves before we talk. It’s nice to use this kind of as a symbol of when we’re starting and stopping. I’m also in a men’s group (Illumen) where we use this to start or end a period of quiet meditation.

This little bowl surprised me. I saw some good video reviews/demos, and decided to take a chance. I am SO glad that I did! This little bowl sings. It has a lovely sound. My husband heard it across the house! It's a small bowl with a big sound. It was such a good purchase, and such an excellent value.

I bought this for my classroom to gain my students attention instead of having to use my voice. It is much smaller than I thought it would be so it is not loud enough for what I want to use it for. However, my students love it! They love taking turns trying to get it to sing and I have even been able to use it as a behavior management tool for some of my more behaviorly challenged students (if you follow directions you can play with the singing bowl ;) )It was also at a fairly good price point so I am very happy with my purchase.

Pretty and sounds nice. A bit difficult to use it, running the mallet around the outer edge, since it's so small and light. It tends to shift around. Striking the side makes a nice ding.

I got this item when I was looking for a nice small brass bowl. The fact that it's a singing bowl didn't play into my decision, although it does have a nice ring when struck.

It seemed bigger in the ad that is why I bought it, and the sound is not as I expected, but it will do for now.
