Fits great, lining makes it NOT see through
I'm busy and so many button up shirts stretch over my ample bosoms. This blouse fit so well and the lining gives me some security that my underclothes aren't visible. It is so soft and good quality. The color is gorgeous and I love the fancy pearl buttons. I'm 5'6" and weigh about 170lbs, with a DD cup size and an 8 for great. I feel like the next size up would have been just a little too baggy for my purposes, but would still fit nicely if you have slightly broader shoulders than I do.

Buy it
This shirt is awesome. I ordered it for a Mary Poppins costume but I’ll be wearing it a lot. It fits me like it was tailored, which is crazy since it’s a random Amazon find. The fabric feels nice on my skin. It has just enough stretch that you can move your arms freely without it feeling tight across the bust, back, or arms themselves. The pretty pearl buttons are a plus. The shirt was shipped folded up in a small bag but all I see are a few creases along the lower arms so I’d say there’s no need to worry about wrinkles. The biggest part that blows my mind is the fabric is sheer, giving you that lacy Edwardian period feel, but apparently it’s not see through. I opened this package after I’d already put on my lounge-around clothes and was not intending on taking a picture so I didn’t bother to put a bra back on. I have an olive complexion, so on the darker side up there (sometimes you need TMI on a product review). As you can see from my picture it is not obvious that I’m free winging it. Okay so ignore my shape because that does make it obvious, but that’s got nothing to do with the shirt. I’m over 50 and breastfed my children. That being said, I can tell that I will have no issues when I do have the girls in place. I hate it when a shirt gaps between buttons and I have to wear a tank or camisole underneath. I live it South Alabama for Pete’s sake where it’s generally 115 degrees with 102% humidity. That’s a big no thank you to layering. For reference I’m 5 ft 6 and weigh 155 lbs. On the regular I wear a 34D, size 8 pant & medium shirt. I ordered the size 12 and it’s perfect I’m about to buy the black collared one as well.

wrinkles
How do you get the wrinkles out especially in the sleeves as I'll be wearing a sleeveless vest over the shirt, otherwise I think the shirt is perfect.

Runs very small
I love this shirt! However I had to order 3 sizes to get the right fit. I am normally a xs/s. I ended up ordering s,m,lg. I kept the large and it is still a snug fit. It describes it as a US size 6, large. It is more like a US 2. So I'd order up at least two sizes. Once you find the right fit, this is a beautiful shirt and I love it!

A fantastic shirt!
Super comfy shirt. I am 4 10' 125lb and this shirt fit me perfectly! The sleeves were full length instead of 3/4 which is perfect for me, as many shirts I buy the sleeves are too long on me. All in all, a great shirt. Would 100% recommend!

Size up
Super cute top but definitely need to size up. Very thin material but makes for a good layering top.

Strong material, but breathable and gorgeous!
Absolutely loved this blouse for a reenactment I did recently. It was true to size and the buttons didn’t pull at the bust, which seems hard to find. Super comfortable, material is strong yet not super thick, somewhat see through but does fine with undergarments of the same color. Absolutely loved the color as well, it wasn’t too bright white but not yellowish either. Would buy again!

Inaccurate sizing.
This is a beautiful well-made blouse. I have a 40” bust size and bought size 18 which according to the size chart has a 46.1” bust. The blouse is quite small, barely able to be buttoned and so, not wearable. Very disappointed in the inaccurate sizing information.
