I installed this myself into a hollow interior door and it looks exactly as pictured on the product page. The cat ended up belly-crawling through it trying to avoid contact with the brush, but it is easily removable so I took it out. My cat is pretty small, so she fits just fine. Unless your cat is a Main Coon, they shouldn't have a problem.I don't have much experience with DYI stuff around the house, but the installation process was quick and easy. If you are like me, I recommend watching some videos on how to cut a hollow door. I used a jigsaw, but a hacksaw would do the trick. The key is to cover the area you are going to cut into with painter's tape before you start. As others noted, the cutting template that's included is slightly larger than it should be. I traced an outline of the template and then cut about 2mm inside that line and got the perfect fit. It's been about 2 months, the adhesive is holding strong (it's 3m double-sided tape, so it should be up to the task).

I made my spare closet into a kitty room for their litter and food and used this to keep the dog out . So far it’s worked great . I love the brush that keeps them groomed and the door does a great job of keeping the dog out . It’s been on about 3-4 months and u haven’t had an issues so far . Also I have a chunky cat and was worried it would be to small for her but she fits perfectly fine .

I built a customer litter box palace for our cat, and this entrance is exactly what we needed to take it over the top. I lightly sanded and then painted the door to match the color of the litter box, and it worked perfectly. The brushes help with reducing dander/hair around the house as we have since found out that my daughter and dog have slight cat allergies. Would definitely buy it again.

Opened the package, cut the door, applied the cat frame - 15 minutes later ready to go!

We had a hole cut in our door but the adhesive tape that comes with it is not thick enough to adhere to the door so I had to buy glue to keep it on the door.The brush thing didn't stay in it so I just left it off.Cats go through it with no problem

Cute product and my cats love it. Installation is easy if you have a jigsaw. Be aware that it is 2 pieces and affixes with 2-sided adhesive tape. I had difficulty getting it to adhere to the textured surface of my door.

Super easy to install. We have a very active toddler and just got a cat. Put the litter box in the basement and this is so perfect! I have no worries about our toddler falling down steps and our sweet kitty can get to the basement to do her business.

We installed this in the wall between the finished and unfinished spaces in our basement to give the cats access to their litter box. One of our cats is pretty large, so having it up higher makes it easier for him to use it. We were worried that the cats wouldn't use it since they do NOT like change, but it didn't take them long at all to figure it out. It's definitely better than having to leave a door open to the unfinished space all the time. I can't comment on ease of installation as I had the contractor doing my basement remodel do it for me.

This product arrived promptly and was very easy to install. It looks great and is good quality. My cats caught on to using it quickly and it is working perfectly. My 12 lb cat fits through easily and it has been just the solution needed to keep cats area in basement where my new puppy cannot access. I highly recommend

Very easy to install and looks great in the door. The covers allow for a seamless finish. Took our cat less than a day to get used to it. Highly recommend.

Our 8 week old kitten had no problem finding his litterbox once this was easily installed!! Having 2 goldies who love our new addition and playing with him, this gives him a quick escape when he needs a timeout!!😊👍🐈‍⬛
