My Jeeps dash Ram mount is a 17mm ball, my phone holder is a 25mm. I didnt want to buy a larger ball mount for my jeep (pointless expense) and I didnt want to get additional ball extensions since I like having the phone mount close to the dash but up away from the radio screen. This 2 sized arm is not only solidly built but works great. Gets good and tight on ball mounts and doesn't rotate or vibrate while driving. Worth every penny as opposed to some of the other options ive ordered. Also the heads are interchangeable. I have bought a few of these for side mirror Ram mounts as well and found you can remove the heads and swap them. So if you need a 17mm on both ends, you can do that as well. Easy to put on and take off.

Very elusive item to find that will allow a 17mm ball to attach to a 25mm ball. Solid metal construction and even has ball bearing thrust washers on the clamp screws to allow full force tightening.

This thing is ROCK SOLID. A bit heavy overall for what it is but the capability of 17mm to 25mm connection is a rare find, and the sides are interchangeable too, a great design idea. I like everything about this but it's heavy, like 4 ounces but it's totally solid. So definitely get it if you must mate 17mm to 25mm, I don't think there's another identical offering, at any weight.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Got this to rig up a camera to clip on to my headrest post and this was perfect. It fit the stated ball joint sizes perfectly. Fit: Fit the respective ball joint sizes exactly as described. Being able to independently tighten and loosen each joint point is extra handy. Ease of installation: Incredibly easy to install.

Perfect solution for the dual ball option. Plus the compact size didn't make it obnoxious to hide it behind the drink holder I wanted to use.
