Good screening, not pixelated, no flaws.Hair is cut in a bob, a bit shorter at the back. It's heavily gelled to keep in place, but you can shampoo the gel off and let it air dry, and the hairstyle looks perfect.Dress is too large and hangs poorly, but that's due to it being "one size fits all" to accommodate the bigger "curvy" body type. This collection is made to be interchangeable.Mobility is good. The doll has multiple joints which feel sturdy.Accessories are ok. Metallic earrings. Standard issue pointy high heeled boots, but in black.Since this product is made for adults and to allow for customization, the head can be pulled up easily from the body. There's no hidden hooks on the neck peg to force it attached. The head doesn't bobble and stays firmly in place.

This doll is beautiful. Fully articulated, beautiful Kit face sculpt and I love her green eyes! She has a Regular Made-to-Move body, wears a kind of plain, boxy, short, black t-shirt dress that feels like a stretchy polyester . It is WAY too short, and in even the most demure poses, you can almost see her 'tutti'. She wears cute black ankle boots. You'll have to do some maintenance on the hair - it's rock hard with glue. I did a hot-water wash and she's better now.

Arrives with her hair heavily gelled, but a quick rinse to wash a little of it out and her hair becomes easy to style and reposition without flyaways. Her paint was perfect, her skin color is lovely, the boots are cute and her earrings are lovely, though the metallic paint is already flaking just a little near the ear holes unfortunately. Nice accessories, good detail!She was absolutely worth the price, and any collector or older child (the earrings and shoes are a choking hazard for a small child) would love this doll.

Took a little while to get here, but she made it. If you’re a collector and like to keep your dolls in the box, or even if you just want it to look nice as a gift for a kid, be aware that mine shipped in a soft envelope with the top half of the box pretty crushed up, but the doll inside is fine. Like people have said, there is a metric tonne of stiffening gel in #1’s hair, so she’ll want a day at the hair salon to wash it out. But she’s lovely for kids or collectors nonetheless, feels very sturdy, should be fun for dress-up and play or styling and display.

This doll is adorable. Fully articulated. Clothes are really nice. Just wish all the Barbies for older children (and the child at heart) were fully articulated.

I honestly don't know how I feel about this doll. For sure I love the face mold and how she's a made to move doll (which are always so much fun for posing). But I don't like the dress she comes in. It's way too short, and that gets tricky with certain poses. I also don't know how I feel about there being a different neck peg that allows for easier head swapping, which is great for doll customizers, but her head doesn't like staying in place and wobbles around (so that might be something I'll just have to get used to). Regardless, I think this is a great doll for any collector's collection.

This made to move Basics Barbie doll has a standard MTM body. Her skin tone is medium and her hair is brown with highlights. The hair has a lot of product and needs attention out of the box. She comes with a slouchy, black T-shirt dress and matching black ankle boots with a pointy toe and skinny heel. Her face mold is stunning and she photographs beautifully, my three daughters love her.
