The management software is horrible. It's supposed to give you the choice to create volumes but it really doesn't. It can't seem to function without disks being connected to the unit and when disks are connected, the unit takes it upon itself to configure a volume automatically. You cant delete the volume... even though you are supposed to be able to. Only way I saw was to disconnect all the disks... which seems to cause the management program to crash. I then had to reinstall the management software... which btw, isn't installed in the unit out of the box (can't understand the reason for that setup).Very frustrating and left me wishing that I had gone with another solution. I wouldn't recommend this product.
