Madison Bay Company Nickel Plated English Style Tea Strainer

Had a tea party. A necessity for a somewhat formal tea. Once when Prince Charles was visiting our President he was served tea. He kept making strange looks at the teacup filled with tea. Later, when asked, he said “I did not know what to do with that little bag in my cup!” Obviously those Americans in the White House were not up to par on English tea etiquette. This little tea strainer can help immensely.

Just what I was looking for in an over the cup tea strainer. Looks like silverplate. Very nice!

I thought this was one unit but it is two pieces. The part that holds the tea is not very deep so you have to fill your cup to the rim. Also, the part you hold gets VERY hot so you have to use some cloth to hold onto it so you don't burn your fingers.I won't purchase again.

Not worth the $20 paid for it. Also, the description fails to mention it is 2 pieces that fit together. If not taken apart to dry after washing it will surely develop rust spots since the metal is not the highest quality. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
