Iron Man: Armored Adventures - Volume 1 & 2 [DVD]

These DVD's are not in the same vein as the films, they follow Tony Stark as a young teenager not a fully grown, adult, alcoholic narcissist with a multi billion dollar company at his disposal, (Yes he is, but we love him anyway). This Tony is at school and Pepper, Happy and Rhodey are all with him. He has the suit in his backpack and is constantly at odds with various Marvel villains. They've basically Peter Parkered this character and tried to cash in on one of the main selling points of Spider-Man's success, which is its relatability to teenagers and anyone who has, at times, felt socially awkward, although Tony doesn't do socially awkward as well as Peter Parker.The animation is particularly good on this production, it has a different but simplistic feel to it which surprisingly adds quite a depth to the visuals in the episodes. You'll get nice crossovers from some of the Avengers, and this show has an awesome theme song, which you can find yourself singing at unexpected moments.Give it a go, it's well worth a look.

since the iron man movie propelled the character into the A list of super heroes .The inevitable cartoon was bound to follow,someone came up with the great idea to turn Tony Stark into a teenage kid in high school,the show works so well as we follow Tony ,Pepper and rhody face of against some of the best designed villians i ve seen.The animation is right up there with Avatar the last airbender.Added the best opening credit song going i defy anyone not to be singing that song in there head for weeks to come after viewing this great show .HURRY UP SEASON 2

Very good quality, would certainly recommend it to friends etc. The feedback from Oliver has been very possitive and has enjoyed watching with anyone who visits him. Oliver is disabled, often has a group of friends visiting him and all eager to watch "Ironman".

Needing some viewing after collecting the excellent Avengers: Earth's Mighestest Heroes, I plumped for this to keep me going. Once you've got past the CGI and Tony as a teenager, there are some cracking storylines in both Season 1 and 2. Enjoyable!

Vastly underrated. Classic. Buy.

I've heard no complaints . I believe he's on his umpteenth viewing of this DVD. It's one of his favourite .

Two great films. Plenty of action. Were a present for my grandson for his birthday, which he loved.Nothing more to say

Recommend to any Marvel fan - not my cup of tea but my teenage daughter thinks it's brilliant! Look forward to next one!
