Gets the job done well
I've been trying to find a good yeast for a while. I don't really want to bother with keeping multiple strains, as I don't think yeast has all that important an effect on taste (sue me!).This will probably be my go-to for the forseeable future. Extremely clean, no off flavors, flocculated out within a week. Works at reasonable temperatures as well. My house is perpetually around 77F here in South Florida, and that's just about the upper limit for this strain. I've tried yeasts that work at higher temperatures, but they produce a ton of sulfide gas. Not here.Usually my fermentations have a certain smell about them, because of the relatively high temperature they're fermented at, but I gave the airlock of my latest beer with this guy a whiff every day and was surprised it just smelled like beer. Awesome.

... yeast and it always attenuates extremely well and is easy to use
This is my go to "house pale ale" yeast and it always attenuates extremely well and is easy to use. I use two packets in a ten gallon batch pitching directly into the primary. lag times are less than 12 hours and with fermentation temps held in the mid 60's this yeast produces a nice clean flavor and my beers usually ferment out in about 5 days. Stop messing with yeast starters and liquid yeast and give a try!

Works well and good to have around
I brew on a fairly regular basis. Sometimes you'll buy a liquid yeast that just doesn't work. Or maybe you get an unexpected opportunity to brew and there isn't any liquid yeast in your fridge. When used to ferment at a low temperature, the yeast ferments slowly and carefully with no significant contributions of flavor or aroma. At higher temperatures, it ferments much faster and may contribute mild esters. It's a good, basic workhorse yeast unless you're trying to make a Belgian, British, or other style where yeast contribute aroma or flavor components.

Great yeast for a variety of ale styles
Great yeast for a variety of ale styles. Ferments quickly and cleanly. Allows the hops flavor and aroma characters to come through in my beers.

this was better than anything I've tried from White Labs
This stuff finished at 6%ABV in just a week! No off-flavors, started fermenting without hours(just pitched dry into the wort), and worked fast but not so fast to blow the top off my carboy. Honestly, this was better than anything I've tried from White Labs. WL yeasts work great for a lot of people, but they seem more temperamental. US-05 seems very reliable!

Just as expected.
I've purchased the Safale US-05 before from Amazon and it always comes quick and fresh. I also look on the dates to ensure they packets are not old and they are always fresh. The price is a little higher than what it has been in the past, but it is a great option when you need yeast fast.

Great bugs
My go-to yeast when brewing any ales. I pitch two packs just to be safe and the carboy sounds like a fish tank in a matter of hours.

Very versatile yeast
The yeast works really well; it is extremely versatile for many types of beer. The yeast is very active, and ferments appropriately. I will be stocking up as needed.
