Amazing product, metal cleans well. Water bottle is of a lighter plastic than the standard issue from the forces.Convenient flint and steel provided which makes a good spark.Smart clean kit!!!

Only issue I have is that the supplied plastic lid is not perfect for this system. Other than that it's fantastic and sturdy. Use the stove with a twig fire or an alcohol tablet/burner. It's up to you. The bottle is bomb proof but as its made of plastic you can't hang it over a fire, but, it comes with a plastic cup as well so you boil water in the anodised aluminium cup and drink from the plastic one.

i use mine on hikes and wild camps great bit of kit in situations where a fire is not an option i would happily recommend it you wont be disappointed should be in every serious outdoors kit

The Crusader Mk II cooking system is an improvement on the original Crusader cooking system in that it enables the use of a Trangia-type spirit burner, in addition to Esbit-type solid fuel, gels, etc.. This has been done by raising the pot support so that the bottom of the pot is positioned where the flame burns at its hottest. The cooking system is fairly compact and not particularly heavy.

I bought this on a recommendation and I am very pleased with it. It uses a multi fuel approach and being sturdy and lightweight offers a lot to the field campers.

Present for my son who absolutely loves it. Big hit. Does everything he needs it to do.
