Understand what it is.
This didn't work. That being said, the construction and material is great! See, it is designed for standard disposable water bottles like you buy in a pack. I ordered this with my "polar water bottle" in mind. And while it did fit, it flopped around like crazy because it only supported the bottom of my tall water bottle.But the molle was good, bungee was good, so if you intend to use for disposable bottles, it's great and it has my approval. However I ended up returning it because it didn't suit my needs.

Holds soda and water bottles of different sizes, thanks to the elastic strap on top. In the few months that I have been using this, strapped to the side of my backpack, the snap has opened twice. I will be running black tie wraps through the strapping, to make sure this does not happen again, but I wish Amastly had gone with another method of securing it in place. Velcro, for instance, would have worked better.

Great holder for regular store-bought water bottles
I love this. It's light, a snap on the bottom makes it easy to put on or take off around the belt. I use very light nylon belts and wasn't sure this would work with those, but it's great. It's perfect for the typical plastic water bottles with small caps: the elastic band at the top of this holder fits nicely around the bottle cap - keeping it stable. I don't think the holder would be good with wide-mouthed containers - but doubt that was the intent for this!

Product tends to unsnap. Luckily it fits through several molle straps which keeps bottle from falling off. I would not purchase it again.

Works great after a little needle and thread.
Works like a charm after you sew the clasp with thread. Velcro doesn't hold when your active, sew some black thread into the loop and it's perfect.

Weak snap=lost bottle
Snap is super weak. Holder and bottle fell off multiple times during first outing. Had to put black electrical tape on the bottle holder to augment the snap. Not sure if adding another snap or possibly Velcro will help or not.

Material is great, construction is terrible
Material is great, construction is terrible. It won't even fit a 20 oz bottle of water properly. The botton support is sewn too far to one side. I ordered two and both are identical in this regard.

Meets my needs almost perfectly. The top had nothing attaching it to the bag so it will either droop a little or you will have to jury rig a way to connect the top.
