The one and only...
A Complete book, only one in its class. I did read it today and it's well explained. Complete chords details complete everything. I love it

Not Worth the Price
This book is a joke. It's basically a guitar chord manual with, the third string tuned down a semitone. It focuses exclusively on six-course lutes, completely ignoring the possibility of using extra open bass courses to build a chord. This is hardly consistent with musical practice in the Renaissance. (For example, fewer than half the Dowland pieces in Poulton's standard edition can be played on a six-course lute.)The actual content of the volume is tiny. Of the 110 pages, about 30 of them are blank chord diagrams that you can fill in yourself. Another couple pages are taken up with space for readers to write "notes" to themselves, plus about 15 pages of general comments about chord theory (better covered on the Web).I'm not sure who would actually benefit from this book. It seems like an awful lot of money to pay to blank chord diagrams.
