Wish I'd bought this cleaning pod years ago! I've had Invisalign ortho aligners for a few years and because they were changed out often, I didn't worry about a little discoloration. I soaked them in half hydrogen peroxide/half water and brushed them some afterward. Clean enough. But now I'm in my permanent retainer. I decided to experiment with a cleaning pod to maintain my appliance. I bought the Invisalign Cleaning Pod powered by Zima Dental. I'm 100% satisfied and delighted. So easy to use! The ultrasonic cleaner keeps the retainer looking brand new and I know it's removing bacteria as well. After the 5-minute cycle, I rinse and dry the pod and my aligners. Done! The small pod fits easily on the sink counter and is compact enough for travel. Love it.

This pod has helped to keep my aligned clean and clear. Also I love the tablets that came with from Zima.

I have used similar ultrasonic cleaners, one of them half the price of this expensive model (that one I would describe as having middle-of-the-road performance), and another that is about 1/3 the price of this one (which has proven to be a very good cleaner for jewelry). This one from Invisalign has the smallest capacity of the three, runs the hottest, makes the most noise (though I would not categorize it as loud), and produces the most vibration, while also having the least amount of customization in operation (it's either on and running for 5 minutes, or it's off). It also, by far, is the best built and cleans the best of all of them. I put a DIY custom night guard into it, without using the included cleaning tablets, and ran it for only five minutes, and that guard looks substantially cleaner than when it went into this thing. Not brand-new, sparkling clean, but clean enough after just one use that I was kind of shocked at how good it looked. In terms of value, does this cleaner justify spending nearly a Benjamin on it? I'm not sure. If you are in the middle of Invisalign treatments and would use it daily, then I would say that it might be worth the asking price. I would personally prefer it to have a slightly larger capacity, and that it came with more than just a handful of tablets at this pricepoint. Reviewing it just on its construction and cleaning merits, this thing is excellent.

The seals on the sides of the box were missing. I’m not sure if these are new or used products.

The cleaner came with the seal broken. I inspected everything and it does not seem that it was used before, all 6 cleaning tablets are in place. If I wasn’t in a dire need of cleaning my aliners because my old machine broke, I would’ve been exchanging it for a new one with a brand new seal.That said the device absolutely does what it’s supposed to, removes all the little particles and cloudiness from the aligners. To test it even further, I put in my engagement ring which had soap and lotion residue and it was all completely gone. If it visibly works on dirty jewelry, I am 100% sure it works on all invisible particles of the aligners.It’s a good product, looks nice and works fast, but the price is definitely outrageous.

I’ve been using the cleaner for a while now to clean my night guard and honestly I love it. It’s super easy to use and way more effective than how I used to clean it before. The little tablet you drop into the water dissolves in just a couple minutes and gives off this really nice minty smell and taste that actually lingers on the guard even after rinsing which I really like. It just feels cleaner and fresher compared to my old routine which never made it feel sanitized enough.Using it is so simple. I just drop in the tablet let it dissolve for a minute or two then place my night guard in push the button and let it do its thing. It fits perfectly into my nighttime routine too. While I'm flossing using my water pick and brushing my teeth it's working in the background and by the time I’m done the guard is good to go.The only small downside is that I wish it came with some kind of plastic cover for the power plug area. Since you’re not supposed to get that part wet it would be nice to have something to protect it when rinsing the inside. But honestly that’s a small thing compared to how convenient and effective this cleaner is. Definitely recommend if you wear a night guard or aligner and want something that’s quick simple and leaves things feeling actually clean.

This ultrasonic dental cleaner is nice and compact and fits well with my white bathroom. The vibration is quite powerful but also not too loud. It’s very easy to use with the single 5min timer function and lid. It cleaned my retainers extremely well and I really like that it came with some cleaner tablets. It easily fit 2 mouth guards. I have 2 for the top and bottom of my mouth.I’m not sure that the cleaning power is any better than my other ultrasonic cleaner at half the cost, but the design of this does feel more solid and looks better. It’s a sleeker design with a nicer material finish. It just looks better in the bathroom.

My kids (7 and 9) both have Invisalign and I hate how dirty they always tend to get so when I saw this on Amazon I figured I would give it a try and man am I glad I did. This thing really deep cleans the trays and only takes about 5 minutes or less to do it. They are like brand new when they come out of this thing.It does come with some cleaning tablets but I found that using water works just as well and does not leave the mint like taste on the aligners.I highly recommend this thing for Invisalign aligners. It is on the expensive side but well worth it to keep these things clean.
