This was my first time using a DWC system. I did a decent amount of research and eventually settled on buying this kit. A big part of that decision was the price - $50 at time of writing.As other reviewers have said, the instructions that come in the kit are pretty much useless, but if you do go to their website, they do have decent instructions there. Although even the specific directions for this kit don't use images that are for this kit, so it gets a bit confusing. Also, they miss an important step of washing the clay pellets.As for the kit itself, the bucket, lid, net pot, and clay pellets all seem to be pretty good. I have already upgraded the air stone because it seemed to be too small compared to other stones I've seen used in DWC bucket setups. I think the pump is also too weak, so I'm expecting to have to upgrade that as well.

Set up was fairly easy to figure out, although instructions sent via email didn't match what was received in the box. The box instructions were more accurate. There is not a lot of information with the system on how to actually grow something and some explanation of the theory of how the system is designed would help. I will need to do the research myself online, so I will figure it out, but it would be helpful if this system was a one stop shop.

The truth is that this is my first hydroponic system. I am using it to grow tomatoes indoors and I’ll say that it is good quality. The parts all fit well together and the pump works great! They even sent a few spare parts. The only negative I even have is the instructions. These were a little hard to follow and I ended up using YouTube to figure out how to put it all together. I would buy again.

This has everything you need to grow great plants. I gave it 3 stars because the print on the instructions were barely visible almost as if they were printed on the first printing press but with no ink. Luckily for me (and a bottle of vodka) I was able to put this together. So if you're looking for a slight challenge in assembly it shouldn't be a problem for you. If you have little to no mechanical inclination this is not the the set you want as a beginner. If you can build a model air plane than this thing will be no problem for you and has done me well.

I like the way you can seperate the nettie pot from the actual lid. I'm not happy with the pump at all, I ended up having to buy a different pump separately because the one that comes with this isn't nearly powerful enough to keep up. I also don't like the having to hook up a seperate hose on the outside. And lastly mine seems to have a lot of water that evaporates so I was constantly having to add ph balanced water daily. I ended up switching brands and just use this one when cleaning other ones.

They are easy to put together and use. I have my first plant growing in the first bucket and it's growing very fast. I just added a second bucket and my plant looks like it's doing very well. Just follow the easy instructions and you'll be all ready to grow in just a few minutes.

Basket a little small so plant size is limited.

Everything works on this DWC hydroponics grow set up. This DWC hydroponics was very easy to put together. It only took me 5 minutes or less to put this all together. I'm using this for my tomatoes and hot peppers. Everything is going great. Well is worth every penny.
