I tried cleaning the gas stove knob, countertop, and the grout between ceramic tiles – no results at all. The steam is too cold. I wiped everything easily with some Fairy, but the steam cleaner is completely worthless. It doesn’t dissolve grease or remove stains.

Compré la vaporeta de Dupray después de comparar varios modelos y, tras varias semanas de uso, puedo decir que ha sido una compra muy acertada. Lo que más me ha gustado es la potencia del vapor y la limpieza profunda sin productos químicos. En mi caso la utilizo para baños, juntas de azulejos, cocina, campana extractora, sofás e incluso el coche, y la suciedad incrustada sale con mucha más facilidad que frotando a mano. Las juntas han quedado prácticamente como nuevas. El depósito grande es otro punto fuerte: permite limpiar bastante tiempo seguido sin parar a rellenar, lo que se agradece cuando haces limpieza general. Además, trae muchos accesorios que realmente se usan (no son “de adorno”), así que resulta muy versátil. Como aspectos mejorables, tarda unos minutos en calentarse y ocupa más espacio que una mopa de vapor normal, pero a cambio ofrece mucha más potencia y mejores resultados. Para mí, compensa claramente. En resumen: si buscas una limpieza profunda y sin químicos, es una máquina muy eficaz y robusta. No es un gadget ligero, es una herramienta seria de limpieza. La volvería a comprar sin dudarlo.

Meine Frau ist von dem Gerät bislang begeistert. Gekauft haben wir es als Waffe gegen lästige Mitbringsel aus Hotelübernachtungen. Nach Behandlung von Bett, Koffer und Textilien fühlt sich meine Frau wesentlich sicherer und wohler. Aber das Gerät hat sich inzwischen auch bei der Reinigung von Fliesen und Fensterrahmen bewährt. Insbesondere gut finden wir, daß Textilien nicht richtig feucht werden durch den Dampfreiniger, ist halt ein Trockendampfreiniger. Nur auf Fliesen sollte man trocken nachwischen. Wahrscheinlich kaufen wir noch den kleinen, transportablen Trockendampfreiniger für künftige Übernachtungen im Hotel.

This item is a time saver as well as a money and health saver. It is so much easier to clean pretty much everything in my house and without harsh chemicals. I have done cabinets, floors, bathrooms, the bbq, my oven, countertops. It works great. Do use distilled water it will make your steamer last longer.
