Rust-Oleum334019 Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Primer Spray, 12 oz, Flat White

Used this to prime several items (read it would help final paint stick better): 30 gallon plastic wicker basket with lid, a wooden 3'x6" bat house, and a plastic doorbell chime cover. It almost made it through 4 solid coats for each! Color and sheen are as promised. Spray nozzle was nice, no drips or large splatters like can sometimes happen, stayed very light and misty.Only note is that in using it on the bat house roof shingles they were crumbling on the edges afterwards the next fay - this may have already been present, I'm not sure. But I would say test it on your material first to be safe.

Easy to use, quick to dry, and the flat gray primer has a blueish hue to it which I love and hope they never change it. I used some other Rust-Oleum spray paints on top of the primer with perfect results, followed by the flat clear coat. I will next be using this on metal, so time will tell how well it prevents rust from forming. Even with no sanding or washing, it dried securely to plastic, so I can scratch at it with my finger nail and no harm comes to it.

This Primer product is a big improvement over the older-style nozzles and spray delivery. Used it for touch-up work on my old car and it bonded the next layers of base coat just as wanted. The can delivered an even spray from any angle and the mist was uniform. This design is a massive improvement over old-style paint spray cans.

Very good. Went in well no heavy areas. Product really covered the area made painting easy. I used this on a woven basket

I’ve had inconsistent results with Rustoleum products in the past, but this is an excellent primer with a fine, smooth finish, quick dry time, and very high pigment content. A job that would normally have taken three or more coats only needed two. Well worth the price.

This primer is excellent. I used on old dark flower pots so I could paint with lighter colors & this primer made it so much easier. I figured painting bright yellow over a black pot would change the color or I'd have to add multiple coats. Not with this primer! Also, it dries so fast I was pleasantly surprised that I could spray the pots within 10 to 15 minutes.
