CURT 13627 Class 3 Trailer Hitch, 2" Receiver, Fits Select Mazda CX-70, CX-90

Excellent product, perfectly packaged, with all the original holes located in the Mazda CX 90 chassis. Initially, I followed a tutorial to install it at home, but it required disassembling a significant part of the truck's bumper. In the end, I managed to do it without disassembling practically anything except for a cover on the underside, and it fit perfectly. I was able to do it alone without anyone's help, but it's more advisable to do it with someone else, because it's a bit heavy. It fit perfectly and doesn't protrude from the vehicle; it looks very discreet. In my case, I installed a protective barrier for vehicles that park very close, but it would certainly work perfectly in this situation.

I’ve installed countless hitches in other vehicles. This hitch was one of the easiest I have ever installed! The instructions are super clear! This is the best hitch to use for your CX90 because it is a direct bolt-on where others require you to cut the frame and snake bolts through. No thanks! I’m not cutting anything. This mounts the same exact way as Mazda’s OEM hitch. Unless you can get the Mazda hitch cheaper, you can’t beat this hitch based on price and ease of installation. I wish all other hitches were this easy to install!! Don’t bother reading the horrible review from the other person that can’t read simple instructions. The instructions provided were just spot on and simple to understand. If you can’t read and understand the instructions, you probably should NOT BE INSTALLING A HITCH yourself and endangering others with whatever it is you are using it for!

Perfect fit for our Mazda CX90, and wayyy cheaper than e trailer, who I thought were the go to guys for this stuff.

Really easy intallation. Less than an hour start to finish. No real issues, I've installed 4-5 receivers before and this was the easiest by far. Four bolts and that's it. Threaded holes already in the frame. You will need two people to put it in place.

Great value for not needing electronic hookup since I don’t need for a trailer

I have installed numerous hitches on cars and am very mechanically inclined but this was easily the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had working on a car. You’re supposed to somehow snake the supports through brackets, wiring, clips, plastic bits and gods know what else. You then have to line up bolt holes and hope to god there isn’t something else in the way that you can’t maneuver around or start all over and find a path around it. The instructions were lacking so much about other items that need to be removed or considered and overall just lacking. Never again will I buy a curt hitch. I did get it fitted but it bubbles out some plastic parts. They’re not visible but this design was difficult to install. A few tips if you do still buy this one: -The rear bumper support plastic clips do not remove easily at all. I found it easier to remove the two 10 mm bolts and then slide off of the plastic clips - On the driver side bracket support bracket that is removed, make sure it is loose and pulled down to slide the support arm above it. - On the driver side rear bumper plastic, there is a electric connector that you need to get above, to do so, the whole tow hitch needs to slide forward and then you can pull it back. To do so though you need to slide the passenger side support bracket past an high voltage electrical connector so will need someone to guide it through -Both sides of the bumper plastic beneath the car will need to be moved out of the way to get the hitch up -A second jack is helpful to get the hitch as high as it needs to go to get the bolts on the rearward side -You will need a wobble connector for your ratchet to connect the driver side rearward bolt Quality of metal and finish is good and why I’m giving it 2 stars
