I’ve been looking for an L-shaped desk and this was the best choice. I was surprised at the quality and it’s heavy. It came in two boxes, separate days and the larger on was extremely heavy. Thank goodness I didn’t live on a third floor. There was a lot of pieces and tons of screws. They kindly included a small bag of extra of screws. The directions were pictures and not words, but didn’t seem a problem. It actually came together pretty well. The drawers fit perfectly and soft closing. The size its very nice for my purpose. The picture showed an oak top and it’s more grey. I preferred the oak. I put this together by myself. Ideally you need two people but wasn’t available. I’m a 67yr. old women very handy and if I can do it you can too.

Good quality desk. It does take a while to put together, I took my time and probably spent 5 hours to finish. It states not to use power tools; use power tools and a little common sense and it will be a lot easier. Some of the pilot holes were not that great and getting a screw started with a screwdriver was a pain. This is not a $2,000 hand made desk, it was less than $250 and suits our needs for a home work station. For the money, you couldn't do too much better.

Arrived much faster than promised. YaY! I bought this to be my dedicated crafting desk. It took me and my carpenter/general contractor husband about 3 hours to put together. There was a corner on the top that was crushed, we didn’t notice until we set the top in nearly a final step! Ugh. Dang. The big drawer was crushed in a corner, we continued install anyway. If you do find you have broken pieces, I’m not sure how you’d repack and return such a monster box, actually two boxes. The corner desk will prolly never be moved, it would be impossible not to damage it if you moved this on carpeting. All particle board. All in all, I’m mostly happy with it. It is what it is: cheap furniture.

What I ordered was correct, just a small hairline crack along the top of desk. Other than that, very happy with product. Looks great in my new home office.
