A Perfect World in Ribbon Embroidery and Stumpwork

Stunning flowers and insects to make using ribbon and embroidery, stumpwork is also included. The main project is a picture showing vignettes of particular flowers, sometimes with insects. Other projects are also suggested, but not shown. The book is an inspiration, showing exactly how to achieve the subjects. Beautiful just to pore over. I think it suitable for all levels, including beginners.

This book leads you to create the finished work, step by step.I have no desire to create the finished article but am happy to pick out elements from the book which I can use elsewhere.A lovely book to own, even if you never get around to using it, it is a pleasure to browse through it.

This is a well written book full of handy hints and many good suggestions. This book belongs in the collection of both beginners as well as experienced ribbon embroiderers.

Very informative,cannot wait to use the knowledge

I bought this book along with 'Ribbon Embroidery and Stumpwork', by the same author.The books are well illustrated but I found the two to be more or less the same. There are also helpful videos on youtube, that demostrate more clearly certain techniques.There is some lovely work in the book.The only disappointment was from Amazon. One of my books arrived with a slashed backcover and was replaced, the return postage not.
