This is the ONLY spot treatment I’ve ever found that works on deep & painful cystic acne. If you’ve tried everything else, you should at least try this. it’s inexpensive so if it doesn’t work then bummer, but when It DOES work it’s life changing. Everyone’s skin/acne is a little different but I really hope it works for you too because I’ve spent so much money on this dumb cystic acne. I ordered 10 of these incase they ever stop selling them.. or change the formula 😡

I used to buy the first aid beauty spa treatment unfortunately since it was discontinued, I had to scramble around to find some other alternatives. I am happy to say that I found my new favorite product. Although it’s not quite match for match formulation. But it still does the job and for the price point it’s 100% worth it in my case.

Salicylic acid gels like this one are somewhat common. I've used all the typical drugstore options over the years, any time a stubborn zit or cyst popped up that just wouldn't away on its own. What I think makes this one a bit special, is how gentle it is. Typically, these types of zit products will irritate my sensitive, dry skin. That's why I tend to only use them as a last resort. This one actually feels mildly moisturizing/hydrating! It was a bit slower acting as far as drying out the zit in my opinion (3 or 4 days to work, as opposed to 2ish), so you win some and you lose some in exchange for that gentleness - but I'm happy with it. My skin is dry and angry enough as is, so having this as a more gentle option was great for me. I definitely say it's worth giving this product a shot, especially if salicylic acid tends to make your skin irritated or flakey.

I've been around the block a few times. Getting a pimple is nothing new to me, and wisdom has taught me that once you start to get one, it's coming and going when it pleases. So no, this isn't going to banish your zit in one day. It's going to go away when it's darn good and ready. That being said, I wanted a spot treatment to try to reduce the inflammation/redness.....maybe? So far, it seems to do some good in that regard. The applicator leaves something to be desired, it's just hard plastic with a hole in the center so it's impossible to actually spread the gel. Could there not be a little brush on the end or would it get gummed up with product? IDK. I also think it's overpriced for the size. But I seem to be saying that about everything I buy anymore so maybe I've just become my grandma :-)
