Pretty, but some design issues. And I don't trust it.
I'm not sure about this. The lid sticks after it's been boiled, so I have to smack it to get it to open. There is no memory, so every time I want tea, I have to set it to 85 degrees. It boils really fast and keeps boiling, so I don't actually know if there is a cut out. And the instructions are rubbish, so I don't know if it is meant to reset when I use it - that's what I would have thought - but I went back to the kitchen and found that it was keeping it hot after I'd made a cup of tea and there was hardly any water left. I actually like it as a kettle, but I'm going to keep a close eye on it. I unplug it at the wall when I don't use it. But it is very pretty and I like having control over the water temperature, but just wish it memorised the last setting.

Wouldn't buy again!
By way of background I wanted a kettle that encouraged family not to boil more than they need and that shut-off quickly as soon as it boiled. This kettle seemed to offer this and even allowed you to select a water temperature that suited the drink being made. In reality I simply don't believe the temperatures that are displayed. I always understood that water boiled at 100C but in this kettle it appears to start boiling when the displayed temperature is 85C and goes on to boil furiously until the displayed temperature reaches 100C, long after you'd normally turn off a normal boiling kettle. What's actually being measured? I can't help feeling that this kettle boils for 15-20 seconds longer than a standard kettle and therefore wastes energy instead of saving it. We manually turn off at 90C.

Broke after 9 days
Nice looking kettle but stopped working after only 9 days of use. There was also fogging of display as other reviews have described (I ignored them as the majority were positive!). The kettle was never overfilled and it’s been far from heavy usage. Might just have been unlucky but it’s a pain not having a kettle.

Stopped working after a few weeks when LED display filled with condensation
This is not a very good kettle. Do not buyit. It's overly complicated, and that just means more things that can go wrong. On ours, the LCD display filled up with condensation and became unreadable. Now, it doesn't work at all. Pressing the Boil button just beeps. Why does a kettle need an LED temperature display? And since I'm out of the seller's return period, I can't get a refund. But you can learn from my experience and save your money. Its interface is unintuitive; you need to press the Boil button twice - once to set the temperature (100, i.e. boiling), then again to start the boiling process. It has a pretty blue light, but this doesn't work because it's a broken kettle. Do not buy this kettle.

Defective
The initial impression was a great little kettle did everything i wanted. Unfortunately after a few weeks it has developed a fault and will not automatically shut off once boiled. There seems to be a design flaw as the steam emitted from the kettle through the hinge on the lid directs the steam towards the handle and the electrics which seem to have caused a thermostat error. The kettle still boils so i will live with the defect but I would not recommend the product to anybody else. After a few days of posting this review the kettle stopped working completely.
