Off to a great start!
The germination rate is amazing. Almost every seed I planted sprouted. Looking forward to flowers. Note: after cold stratification germ rates were even better. Great product.

Didn’t grow for me
They grew last year, but not this year.

Sprouts well, right out of the packet.
I did not stratify. I planted late. Less than a week later, there are innumerable sprouts. No problems here. 5 stars for now. Will update in the future.2+ months after planting: The flowering has begun and the colors are vibrant. They are small; the pods are smaller than a dime. I imagine this is because I planted so late or because the flowering has just begun. I'm happy with the purchase of these fertile seeds and will plant again next year.

No luck
Not a single seed sprouted. Been many years since I’ve grown poppies, but don’t remember it being difficult. I bought the seeds on Amazon back then and they grew great, but something about these seeds seemed weird. They also didn’t really look like poppy seeds and there were definitely not 5000 seeds in each packet. Not even close.Next year I’ll try and source my seeds elsewhere. It’s such a shame that growing these have become so stigmatized. I remember you used to be able to buy these at Walmart. Now I feel like I’m committing a crime buying a poppy seed bagel.

Successful Germination - Zone 10
Planting Zone 10a + 10b (San Diego, California)Most of the seeds germinated relatively quickly (around 7 days from planting). I will be growing more of these poppies among other plants in my garden after I find the best soil and nutrient balance.

Seeds are not always wanting to grow.
Poppies are usually ready to grow if dropped on most soils, but not for me.

Awesome Flowers
This was my first time attemping to plant Poppies- I lost my Poppy virginity! FINALLY! A very jaw dropping opening, like a metallic is how Opium Poppy starts out. As they continue to grow throughout the season, starts to fall deep and deeper into an almost carnation-like floral scent, with spices and a simply floral atmosphere.Has a character all of its own. Very nice blend and one which deserves a lot of attention and love! Just beautiful.

Growing great.
This is the first year trying my green thumb out on poppies. Over the years I keep hearing about how difficult and stubborn they can be. However I find this to be far from the truth. Within 3 days of sowing my first seeds, I've gotten a ton of starters, to many actually I had to thin them out. Right now it's been about a month and they are doing great. I must have 20 plants going so far and I've barely used any of the package of seeds. Anyone wanting to try and grow these beauties I recommend Seed Needs seeds. They give you far more than the package says and they are definitely on the fertile side of the spectrum. I will for sure be ordering more in the near future and not just poppies.
