Gro-Sure Multi-Purpose Grass Lawn Seed, 15 m2, 450 g

This product is highly recommended, although it’s not cheap for the quantity.We managed to burn a large patch of grass when Fire Pit was used which left a totally burnt ground.We raked the burnt area, sprinkled generous large amount of the seed, sieved the compost before sprinkling over the seed, gently walked on to press soil, then we sprinkled generous amount of water without disturbing the seed, we then covered it with waterproof sheet for 6 days. When you uncover it may look abit dehydrated but it’ll be ok after few days , The picture is taken after 10 days from seeding.

I felt like god.Here I am making life; lush green life in all its glory.Not only is my lawn now aesthetically pleasing but it brings a new home to the bugs and beasties of my garden.A few scatters, some water and sun - By golly, hey presto! The grass grew, exactly what it said would happen on the box, absolutely astounding...Just riveting to watch.. Yes I got a bit chilly, lonely and malnourished but those few days out there in my garden watching grass grow from seed WOW a truly humbling experience..I can’t wait to show my dog who will no doubt show his appreciation by taking a giant dump on my new lush grassy patch. The easy pour system built into the box works well and with the seeds being a shade of blue you can easily spot missed areas. The pigeons however were not put of by the colour and would often take a snack leaving some patchy areas once fully grown. The soil quality was poor but the grass seed still managed to come to life. Perfect little box for patching up.

Having just done the garden, getting a rotavator to turn over what was there currently and put everything to seed. I looked for something that would be able to cover the area I needed and also with the ability to be able to spread the seed correctly.Well now my lawn has come through and I am so pleased, using the boxes was easy and the coverage of the seed was easy on the prepared ground. Not sure that the coverage is 100% stated but so pleased.Easy to use, minimal fuss, just makesure to water it afterwards and for a week. Seeing results in about a week with good weather.

Needed to grass over a bed approximately 1m wide x 3m long and this was cheaper and easier than turf. Covered with horticultural fleece to protect from birds but to still allow light and rain to get through, but made sure I watered every day on dry days with a fine rose watering can so as not to dislodge any seed. After 5/6 days was thrilled to see little shoots appear! Came up slightly patchy but that was probably my fault with the scattering. Have now re-seeded those patches and they have also started to grow. Very pleased and would recommend this product.

Works well in the summer. Need to wait at least 2 weeks after sowing to see growth. Must water every day

It didn't give the coverage I was hoping for. Took a while to germinate but got there in the end. Seems to handle the shady areas OK.

I’ve tried loads of different grass seeds and this is the only one that has ever grown. I’ve never bothered any of the faff you’re meant to do, just spread it where I needed it and left it and hey presto it’s grown!
