Great, multifuction tool for cooking over a fire. Able to pick up lid off of dutch over, can also pick up dutch off by the handle, and functions as a trivet/stand to set the dutch oven or cast iron pan on to it doesn't burn the table. Works great, very useful!

This is a super handy, strong, well built and sturdy accessory for cast iron users. Allows you to cool any pots on the counters without ruining surfaces. On occasions if you serve food in the cast iron cookware itself, it can be put on the serving table and present the food with grace and great functionality. It can be used on an open fire for cooking outdoor and act as a wonderful support for just about any Lodge pots, grill trays, etc. Super nice that it folds for storage.

This is an awful multifunctional tool. I love cooking outdoors and this little tool helps me with many aspects of outdoor cooking, helps move the pot without getting burned, helps lift the lid. - and i can also use it to place the hot lid or hot pot on it after removing it from the fire.

I use these to lift the lid on my cast iron dutch oven. They are also good to set the lid on so the lid doesn't sit on the ground and get dirt in your food when you put the lid back on.

Works wonderfully to lift the lid and hold it up -- Lodge claims you can cook with it, but I have not yet done so. What I found VERY useful that I do not remember Lodge you could use it for: to lift a heavy pan by the opposite side of the handle.

I used this stand for cooking on my cast iron skillet while camping. It worked well. I was able to just put it down in a bed of hot coals and place my 12 inch skillet on top and get cooking. I was also able to place a small backpacking kettle on it without issue. It folds flat so its easy to store and transport, although it’s a bit too heavy to consider taking it backpacking. I did not try using it as a hook for lifting lids or whatnot because it was under the pan in question, and I don’t think it’s worth keeping two of these around.

Excellent multi-use tool for Dutch oven cooking. As a lid lifter, it lifts straight up and prevents ash and coals from falling into the pot when you check on the food. As a cooking stand, we put it directly into the fire and it wasn't damaged other than some of the coating chipping off. As a lid stand, keeps the lid clean by elevating it off the ground so you can stir the pot. As a bail lifter, has a good shape to give you enough grip for even a heavy pot. Excellent tool! So useful. Highly recommend.

Este es un artículo que nunca sacó de mi caja de camping, es súper versátil desde para calentar agua en una recipiente de manera más estable, hasta para poner un comal o olla y preparar algún alimento, además de servir para levantar las tapas de mi olla de hierro fundido, de manera segura y cómoda. This is an awesome product, well designed and made. It makes camp cooking a lot easier as it helps to keep the hot lid to the camp dutch oven clean and off the ground. it also makes a good way to open the dutch oven when its hot as well. Would definitely recommend and buy again
