Looks nice and, as advertised, it doesn't tick, BUT, it makes a whirling sound instead which is just as annoying as ticking.

The second hand problem.
The second hand was loose in the clock face, either they did not check before sending or it fell off in the post. Either way not OK. Sent it back.
