I agree this Juicedlink provides great audio and completely eliminates the hissing sound
I agree this Juicedlink provides great audio and completely eliminates the hissing sound. I use it for my canon 7d with shotgun rode mic & rode interview mic. No more syncing after upload! Oh and I did have a problem with the battery door. I think it can get loose very quickly doing production. I recommend using tape or a sticker to hold just in case.

Overall GREAT product. 1 star off for some minor things. Sound quality is amazing! Much better than Dr100 or H2n
Im in love! Minus a few minor things I would change (and even pay extra for)The overall build is great. The product works perfectly! It makes all other recorders sound terrible. I used the Zoom H2n, the Tascam Dr100mkII and the Tascam DR60D. They are all good products, but I can say this Juicedlink sounds amazing. Directly into my 6D and 70D it sound awesome. The Signal to noise ratio is awesome, so good that I can't believe its recording straight to my dSLR.The battery door is my biggest issue. It feels cheap and flimsy and I expect it to fail under heavy use within a year or two.The output could be placed better. Its kinda funky sticking out of the back, It would be nice to have it on the side with the XLR ports, but its not a really big issues. My BIGGEST issue with this is that the mount requires a tool. I can't tell you how many times I have wanted to take it off or put it on my camera and I couldn't find the tool. Its a simple allen wrench, but still. There needs to be a better way to install and remove it. I understand for the design purpose of mounting anything underneath it needs to be flat, but making a allen wrench slot or holder would even resolve this problem.
