Simple to set up the basic setup card. After that good luck with the most complicated instruction booklet we have ever seen!
We use Comcast Business internet and its phone service starting in June. Our old AT&T phone system was not working well.Comcast Business phones does not allow us to block spam/crank calls in spite of supposedly having a system. Nor does it allow us to use NoMoreRobo calls as plain Comcast did.So we were swapped with spam/crank calls. This unit can block a lot of calls (it "ain't" that easy), more on that later. The setup using the fast set up system card was easy and worked well for the base phone and the remote. The quality of the phone calls is excellent, and the remote works in our home and outside. However, that was the last easy thing with this phone. As noted by many other users, the instruction booklet is over whelming and complicated.I did programming in the 1960's for business and the Navy. We were among the first to have a home pc.We have used Android Phones since they came on the market. The same with Android or Amazon Fire tables, Ace Chromebooks and a Win 10 laptop. So we are not virgins re tech stuff.Again, the instruction booklet is terrible to deal with. One of our grandsons is the IT guy for his family, neighbors, friends, classmates and his old grandparents when we need help. He carries a portable Mac, I phone and an Apple tablet to his classes at a private school and uses them everyday for classwork, homework and to communicate with friends everywhere. After a frustrating hour with the instruction booklet, he gave up.We finally are able to block spam/crank calls but you have to go through a fairly complex protocol for each number, versus just pushing a button on the main phone or remote to block the calls. There are a ton of supposed options to use with the phones, again the instructions are too complex. In summary, the phones were easy to set up and are reliable and come back on if there has been a power failure or a break in the Internet. We would probably prefer being mugged than dealing with the Instruction Booklet.A humorous thing is when someone calls, a voice on the set in not that great of English tries to tell us who is calling in a flat SE Asian nasal tone with miss pronounced words. We and guests laugh at this butchering of English. The funnest is when a friend who is named Christopher calls. The phone announcer with that funny accent/tone tells us that Christ is calling.

No full duplex speakerphone, no hold button on handset but decent quality 2 line phone
I bought it primarily for two reasons - the corded phone and the speakerphone. Sadly, the speakerphone is unusable for conversations. It is only useful to navigate through voice driven menus. Any time someone else speaks while you're speaking on speakerphone, they will not hear you. So if you're on a conference call and you're trying to jump in, good luck. This phone is not for you if that's what you need it to do. The quality of the speakerphone is also not great, although it's acceptable if you're close enough to the microphone.Other focus on features over substance - no hold button on the cordless handset. The DO have a noise reduction button, as if that is something you're going to use more often. On the bright side the LED display is backlight when you active it. I haven't bothered using the bluetooth features since they aren't so useful for me as it's usually the other way around. I prefer to use the corded phone and desktop rather than answering a cell phone. I have calls ring on both units and prefer to talk on the corded base unit.As much as there are issues with this model, there aren't many to choose. Perhaps next time I'll try another brand. Got this on sale so it was worth investing just one more time. But I will make sure the next speakerphone is full duplex.

Bells, whistles, and bluetooth.
This is really a pretty remarkable phone at a great value. It's got all of the bells and whistles, and excellent blue tooth functionality, which is why I bought this model. You can connect up to 4 cell phones, and a blue tooth headset, then answer cell calls on the landline receiver with the handset, blue tooth or speaker phone. My Plantronics Voyager Legend reaches all over our 5000 sf house. It's a nice combination and pretty cool for a small office.Nice functionality with your PC - just plug in to a USB port and you have full access to all of your contacts in Outlook. Click the mouse on your PC and you're dialing the number. My only grumble so far is that I would like to be able to adjust the font size on the tilting screen. There's only room for 9 digits of the phone number, so the 10th digit spills over onto the next line down, which is a bit awkward.
