Brilliant beginners book.
I bought this book for myself looking for a series of exercises to do to get myself back into painting and build my confidence. Unfortunately I didn't like many of the studies but it did remind me of some techniques that I had forgotten. It is really a beginners book and so I will pass it on and I know it will be appreciated used regularly. It just isn't the book for me. I am just to set in my ways! The wheel is useful and it teaches things that are useful to a beginner. Unfortunately anyone who has been using watercolour for a while might find it a pain in the neck to use.

Very useful book for mixing watercolour
This book is a very useful book for beginners to watercolour. It's the best I have bought so far and have used it so much.

Not About Colour
I bought this book to help with understanding colour, but instead, it contains what every other book on watercolour painting has, ie. Materials, techniques etc. etc. There is very little on colour such as staining colours, transparent colours, opaque colours. Very disappointing. I wouldn't waste money on it. Even the index has very little substance to it disabling searching for things.
