I prefer the my breast friend design but ending up keeping this one cause it’s cute and great quality. It isn’t bad, just not the best nursing pillow out there

I was shockingly disappointed in this boppy. I’ve used others and they were very comfortable… This one is not. The opening to go around your body is SMALL and I’m a small person. It was tight around my belly and forget about my husband using it. The pillow also didn’t “fill” the cover, leaving about 6 inches at the ends empty. I went back to my $20 pillow.

Do not buy. Just get the regular cover if you’re going to get one of these. The “luxury” cover will be trash after one wash. Also, if you have a short torso like me, get the travel Boppy instead, as this is too large and firm.

I used the same original Boppy pillow for my first two kids. It was used when I got it and was in desperate need of replacement before my third child was born. I got this one as a replacement and really like it so far! This new design is wonderful! It's much firmer and sturdier than the original Boppy pillow. I can't nurse, but it supports my baby perfectly for bottle feeding. As a plus sized woman, I also appreciate that the center U-shape is wider, so I can actually get it around me. I wear a size 3X shirt and can get it around my abdomen (at least partially) without bending the pillow. Part of what destroyed my original Boppy is that I had to bend the pillow to get it around myself. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's harder for my other two kids (4 and 22 months) to use. For some reason, the new design makes it harder for smaller children to use when holding the baby. I think the fact that it's taller and firmer is what makes it harder, but I can't really tell. The baby just ends up in a weird position whenever the older kids try to use it. But, I can use my old Boppy pillow for when they hold her.

As someone who has the original Boppy, I personally love the wider shape. As a dad who bottle feeds, the original C shape was never comfortable for me and took some effort to put on one handed. This new shape solves that and is nice and firm to support baby as well. I love the size and thickness of the pillow, and it's super easy to adjust or wash if there are any spills or messes. The new Boppy has held up super well through the newborn phase so far, and I reach for this one over the original every time.
