Well made, sturdy and perfect stationary bike
I have a bad knee and was looking for a sturdy but not huge stationary bike. My orthopedist said it is one of two home exercises that would help. Since I don’t have a swimming pool I started researching stationary bikes. This one was pretty much what I was looking for and in a price range I can do right now. It’s also foldable and movable. It had excellent reviews. I received it in record time, and while it looked pretty complicated, I’m delighted to say I was able to put it together myself! The instructions were some of the best I’ve ever encountered. The parts were well made, went together with no problems, and I now have this fantastic piece of equipment ready to use. It is SILENT and for now it is in front of my tv. I can fold it and roll it to another room if I want. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Exactly what you want it to be
I love this bike so far! I was looking for something that I could use at home and also take away to college because I don't really have a place to store exercise equipment. I chose this because it can fold up and potentially fit in a closet. When the box first came, it was a lot heavier than I expected. At first I was slightly disappointed by this, but the more I think about it, the more I'm okay with it because it means the bike is sturdy and strong. Once I got the pieces out, I could tell that this is definitely true. Assembly was easy enough...I work very slowly on things like this because I want to make sure everything is correct. Plus, I'm not exactly handy with tools and such. However, this was mostly aligning holes and putting bolts in place. It didn't take much time or stress for even me to figure out. However, I did have to look at the diagram of "labels" in order to figure out which cross bar went on the front and which went on the back. One had wheels, so I wanted to make sure this is correct. I saw in some reviews that people had stripped the left pedal when trying to put it on because you have to screw it in counterclockwise instead of clockwise, but I'm not sure how they managed to make this mistake because the instructions call attention to it like four times. Also, I saw that someone had complained that the remote holder didn't come with screws to attach it, but maybe they lost theirs because mine definitely did. Using the bike is awesome. The display works just as it should and pedaling is smooth and quiet. Like, almost silent. The seat is huge and therefore quite comfortable...it's even more comfortable than the really expensive bikes at a gym I used to use. It is definitely more comfortable than a normal bicycle. I'm 5'4" and I can reach the pedals comfortably. My parents, who have owned several pieces of exercise equipment in the past, say it is way better than any exercise bikes they have ever owned. All in all, I'm extremely thrilled that I found such a great bike for such a great price.

Excellent bike, fragile covers, display didn't last
I use the bike almost every day for 10-60 min. I am not a bicyclist and I don't care much for bicycling. It's just a part of an exercise routine. I have a well-equipped gym with free weights and a treadmill and now this bike, which replaced treadmill as a go to for cardio. Treadmill requires some prep, shoes etc, while this bike requires nothing. Just hop on barefoot and do it. Sometimes as little as 10 min just to warm up. The bike assembly was easy following the video. It took me ~30 min. No tools besides whatever was provided required. One problem I discovered when assembling was the covers (part 19). They were both (left and right) cracked. During assembly I thought it was not a big deal, but as I nearly finished I saw that damage was more serious. The covers are primarily cosmetic and protect the mechanism against dust. So, I decided to ask for new covers - it's supposed to be a new bike after all. I emailed the company and they sent me covers and a link to a video on how to assemble them. Replacing covers took me longer than assembling the bike. There are 3 pieces there and they all have to snap together just about right or else it all goes crooked. The pieces themselves are flimsy, which is fine as they bear no load, but certainly for shipping they better be handled with care (which is stated on the box). Anyway, I did manage to put them on and am very happy with the bike, so here's the summary. When you get the bike, check the covers first. If cracked, unless you enjoy screwing (no pun, there are multiple screws on both sides which have to fit just about right to match predrilled holes) just send the whole bike back for a replacement. The bike is exceptional sturdy otherwise. Very comfortable and the monitor provides basic function and is easy to use. I usually watch something on TV when biking so it's perfect to occasionally check heart rate and speed to make sure that I don't slack off. The most important thing is that the bike is silent! Unlike the bike I used to have and which I hated and hence used little because of that hiss from the belt, this bike you virtually can't hear. So, you can watch TV w/o interference. I have the bike for about a month and so far no problems. After a little over a year, the display died. That is it still shows something, but it is hard to tell what. Replaced batteries. That just made the display bright, but the functionality is all gone. It's either zeroes or some random numbers.

This is an excellent stationary bike that doesn't take up much room and is very quiet.
This is an excellent statiionary bike. It was easy to assemble, and I use it regularly while watching shows on my computer. It gives me a good workout, exercises my lower belly very well with the pedaling, is very quiet, and has good features on it. It is also not made in Communist China (which is always a good thing). It is made in Taiwan, and I am fine with that. I would recommend this stationary bike to anyone (well, anyone who weighs less than the maximum-stated weight which is a little over 300 lbs that is). It is convenient and doesn't take up much space. It is goooood.

Good bike for the price
I was a bit worried about getting an exercise bike without giving it a try first, but I don't have any regrets from this purchase. The bike itself is pretty light (for an exercise bike) and I didn't have any problem moving the big box it came in to the right room. Assembly was a snap - the instructions look horrifyingly complex, but most of the parts they show are already pre-assembled, so you don't need to worry about them. I think the whole assembly had maybe a dozen pieces, not counting screws, and took me about half an hour to put together. All the tools you need come with the bike, so you don't need to worry about that. Once assembled, the bike can fold or unfold into a pretty compact size, so I can easily hide it away in a non-walk-in closet. Once assembled, the bike itself is very quiet. I can easily hear the television over the sound it makes without turning up the volume. Resistance is controlled manually, so if you want to simulate hills and things you'll have to do that yourself, but it's got a very good range of resistances if you just want to set one and go. Please keep in mind I'm a casual cyclist, so I'm sure the more hardcore folks will differ on that point. I'm not sure I trust the pulse meter (it told me I had a heart rate of 170 after ten minutes of riding, and I KNOW that's not accurate) but the rest of the functions seem to be accurate enough. I'm not sure about the calorie counter since it doesn't ask your weight or anything, but it didn't seem hugely inaccurate from what I read online, so caveat emptor on that part. The seat is VERY large, much much larger than a normal bike seat. I actually had a little bit of trouble with it, it was so large, so I sort of have to perch myself on the very tip of it. If you were planning on exercising for more than an hour or so, it might cause you some trouble. I rarely go over an hour, though, and once I got used to it, it didn't really bother me too much. It could just be designed for a different body shape/size (I'm 5'10, 190 lbs). so it's something to keep in mine. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. I'm sure there are fancier bikes out there, but as far as I'm concerned, you can't really beat this one at this price.

Works good so far, comfy seat!
UPDATE - 2 years in to owning this bike: I have had this bike since August 2020 and I use it for 40 mins at a time, 4-5 days a week. The belt has broken 2x inside of it from fraying/splitting apart. I have repaired it both times by buying the belt part myself for $25 each time on Amazon, taking it apart and re-adjusting the resistance, which has taken about 1.5 hrs each time. You need to be handy and have some tools to do this, there is no instructions from the manufacturer so I had to tinker with it. Here is the belt I have bought- Gates 240J4 Micro-V Belt, J Section, 240J Size, 24" Length, 3/8" Width, 4 Rib: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CJK39AC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have not bought this belt, but it looks like it would work and its only $8: https://www.amazon.com/PowerDrive-240J4-Poly-Belt/dp/B00NUS2HJ6/ref=pd_bxgy_sccl_1/143-7896575-6840767?pd_rd_w=2Q7oX&content-id=amzn1.sym.7757a8b5-874e-4a67-9d85-54ed32f01737&pf_rd_p=7757a8b5-874e-4a67-9d85-54ed32f01737&pf_rd_r=XHGPQNK3M5B57J5JMY8Y&pd_rd_wg=lKAFF&pd_rd_r=9ecc871f-8ccf-4ff3-a6cd-b92157e5277d&pd_rd_i=B00NUS2HJ6&psc=1 It is a bit squeaky as time has gone on, but I think if I put some WD 40 on it, it would work well. It is lightweight so its easy for me to move around my house, which I do ever time before & after I work out. It works well after the repairs. I still like how comfortable the seat is, but the resistance is not super high, even when you are maxed out at speed 8, so if you want to workout really hard/want a lot of resistance, this is not the bike for you. But overall, I like it for the price I paid and it has worked well for me! ---- Original review from Sept 2020: Product arrived early, I have had it a little over a month now. I use this bike for 30 minutes 5-6 days a week. I really enjoy this bike because it has a very fluffy seat, it is easy to move around my apartment, and it provides enough resistance for me. Like others have stated, the digital display on the bike does not do a good job of measuring heart rate or calories accurately. It is accurate on time though, which frankly is all I care about. The resistance is controlled by a manual knob, so that would not be affected even if the display broke. I typically keep the knob at a 6 or 7, it only goes up to 8. If you are a hard core biker, this bike will probably not have enough resistance for you. The handlebars are comfortable, this is a bike where you sit up pretty straight as well. I am 5'7", but I am not sure how this bike would work for taller people over 6ft - I think you would hit your knees on the handlebars. So far I have not noticed any mechanical issues with the bike, other than it will creak a little while I am sitting on it from time to time. I think that could be fixed by tightening the screws though. Note, the instructions say to not pedal backward with the bike, so make sure you know that before purchasing to avoid potentially breaking it. I took off the plastic hold older after 1 day because my legs kept hitting it, but since I use it at home it is unnecessary to add on. Assembly was easy, it took me a little longer than the times others wrote, but I was distracted watching TV so thats more on me than anything else :) Even with the distraction, it took me about 1 hour and 15 minutes to assemble. All parts are included in the box, you do not need additional tools. Overall, a very good little bike for a light to moderate biking workout! I was especially happy with the price point :)

Sturdy, Well Designed and Quiet Exercise Bike That is Easy to Store
A further update. Am now over four months and 40 miles short of 1000 miles on this exercise bike and find it has proved both durable and useful in getting an hour a day of exercise for my heart condition. It is extremely quiet and the magnetic resistance is so much better than the old system of a rubber roller on a bike tire type of bike. Most important to me is that in 4 months I have not missed a day using this bike and it lets me work out in front of the TV where I watch three lessons of Great Courses a day while getting my equivalent of 10,000 steps as is often recommended for those of us with heart conditions. In fact it has worked so well I have added a small book on its use in exercise programs to my website at www.amazon.com/author/scottro Other than the one early problem with the computer discussed below(which somehow ended up resolving itself so now I have a spare when needed) the bike has proved an excellent investment in my health. I do think that the pulse readings are a bit off and I keep an oximeter nearby when working out to verify my pulse readings trying to keep mine at 90% of maximum for my age (220 minus your age gives you theoretical maximum heart rate and normally recommend keeping aerobic exercise in 80-90% of that maximum range although that depends on your overall health). http://www.amazon.com/Contec-CMS50DL-Oximeter-Oximetry-Saturation/dp/B004BJT9OE/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417792738&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=osiometer This is an addition to earlier review. Have now used the bike for over three weeks and putting 80 miles a week on it. Remain extremely pleased with the bike. Unfortunately at 240 miles the computer decided to have mind of its own and started rapidly scanning and resetting the time. Pressing and holding button for three seconds plus did not reset. Then it would not turn off so had to remove the batteries. Called customer service and they had me on file even though bought through Amazon so they had purchase date. Sending me a replacement set of handlebars which includes the computer and told me to keep the old one for spare parts. Very nice to work with. Could not find the model number but turned out the four digit code (1200) on front of the manual is the model number. Serial number is on the leg of the unit should you need that. Despite this problem this is working beautifully for me. Would be ashamed to tell you how much exercise equipment have bought over the years that never got used that much. I do a one hour a day workout on this bike, three 20 minute sessions with 10 minute break, and have not missed a day yet. Started out at resistance of 3 and up to 5 now. How this will hold up long term have yet to see but if have more to report will come back and edit this review. Having read the reviews I agree that this is extremely well made and sturdy. Also smooth and quiet. Glad I did not go with cheaper and flimsy bike. While I have barely started using the machine I will return if in using it I find issues to note or helpful hints. In this review I am limiting my comments to assembly issues I ran into. It took me about half an hour to unpack and assemble. In unpacking you will want a box cutter or scissors to cut the various tapes and plastic. It comes very well protected. My first challenge was where the wheels went. I had to go back to the video to see they go to the front of the bike. Next they give instructions about how the peddles screw on and this you have to read very carefully. The left peddle screws in counterclockwise but the right peddle screws in clockwise. Doing otherwise can strip the threads. Their instructions on this are bit weak. The print on red warning on the wrapping is so small you need magnifying glass to read and in the manual they have bold print on the left peddle but not on the right peddle. The straps I found difficult to install. Finally found that on one side they pulled up over a flange. Before installing suggest you sit on bike and if possible have a partner adjust the straps to whatever footwear you plan to wear when peddling so you do not have to take off and reinstall the straps. If more than one person using this will need to adjust to the largest footwear. They were probably the hardest thing to install. As one who has had a lifetime of assembling Christmas toys for children and grandchildren I am used to instruction issues and a missing part or two. Alas this was true here although very minor. One of the small spring washers was missing --- and yes I did check the area carefully as well as the packaging. Minor item I will pick up at hardware store for a few pennies. The batteries are included but if you plan to use the bike frequently you will likely want to install alkaline or lithium batters as the heavy duty will not last long. Manual gives good instructions on how the computer works and I like the scan feature that lets you see all the functions one after the other. You can also set to just one if that is what you want. Can reset all to zero except the odometer which you can do but takes bit more effort. Manual does have some nice stretching warm up exercises included which are always a good idea before working out. Included is dual open end wrench, screwdriver and Allen wrench which is all you need to assemble. Did find when folding for storage needed to be sure holes aligned for the safety pin. Folding to the max pushed just beyond the hole. All of these are very minor items for what appears a high quality and extremely useful exercise bike. They include phone number, e mail and fax for any replacement parts you might need. No pricing but obviously can get that from them after the one year warranty period. One last item is that while not as bad as many items you will end up with all those little bits of styrofoam on the bike and elsewhere that are always a pain to clean up. So be prepared to vacuum and/or if you have a piece of packing tape handy that is good way to get these little devils. Any issues will come back and add. Hope you find this helpful.
