Absolute Leather Men's Sparta Black Classic Genuine Lambskin Leather Jacket

Leather quality: I'm new to leather jacket, so my opinion is not of the expert. But I think the leather quality is pretty good. I have made comparison to other brands like Zara, and Michael Kors. This leather is somewhat thicker (hope that's a good thing). I guess because it's thicker, it's less soft.Fit: for smaller guys, I think this jacket will fit great. The waist area is a bit tight though.Lining: This is where I wish it could have been better. I'm ok with the main lining of the jacket, but the pocket lining seems out of place. Why not using polyester? They use some fabric that's not very dense, and feel cheap. I'm not sure how well it will hold with time when you constantly pull out sharp objects like keys for example.Smell: The jacket smells terrible for some reason. None of the leather jackets I tried have this kind of smell. I hope it'd go a way soon. Otherwise I won't be able to wear it smelling like this.Overall, I think the jacket is pretty decent for its price. Time will tell more on the leather quality. I could be a perfectionist but small touch like the pocket lining could have made this jacket feel much higher quality. I don't think polyester would break the margin, so I'm wondering why they are using such weird lining. I'm looking to see if I can replace the pocket lining.UPDATE - Oct 29th: I really wanted to like this jacket. It checks a lot of boxes on my list but the stitching quality is unacceptable. I haven't worn it once and the stitching of the lining in the back has already came undone. Maybe I had a defective unit, but I can't throw my money out for a defective jacket that I haven't even worn it. I would have to return.

The pics look nicer than the jacket was. Not as soft as I was expecting. Very light weight. I don’t think this would keep you warm. The biggest problem I had was the overpowering smell right out of the bag. I let it hang in my garage for a couple of days and the smell never went away. I couldn’t wear this smelling like it did. I don’t know if it was from the tanning process, but it was a deal killer for me. Additionally, the size runs a little small.I received another jacket. The jacket is great. No noticeable oders. Their customer service is great. I would definitely purchase more products from this seller.

Good looking jacket, but I’m very concerned as there’s no label anywhere that says it’s “genuine leather “ IS IT???

Having ordered a number of jackets online, I'm sort of surprised by this one, sized small is actually sized small - and without the gorilla arms problem that seems to plague most of the jackets I've purchased.The first thing I did was toss the jacket into the dryer at low heat along with a couple of dryer sheets and a long kitchen cook cloth (to absorb the odor). This pretty much wipes out the smell in a matter of a 1/2 hour. Sure, I'll still want to hang it out for a bit in the open air to get it closer to the $500 jacket smell.Leather quality is no better worst than my $500 jackets, with average inner lining. Sure I would have preferred a colored lining made of heavy silk... but I paid less than $200.

This isn't lambskin. Not even leather. A thin plastic coating on foam. A total rip off, DO NOT BUY!

Jacket arrived in 2 days. The size chart provided by seller is spot on with actual jacket sizing. I am a descent sized man 50" chest, 45" waist, 22" shoulders. These measurements told me to get a 2X jacket which fit perfect. Jacket is true to size. Jacket quality seems good and jacket looks great. You can truly expect to receive what you believe you are buying.

great jacket at a great price. $129 for a genuine leather? Gotta give those Pakistani leather workers a shout out for their quality at an incredible price.

I ordered this jacket for my son for xmas. I ordered it on the 15th and was told I would receive it on the 26th. I actually got it on the 20th!! After trying the jacket on, my son decided he wanted it a little bigger ( the small fit perfectly, but he's 16 and still growing). The return literally took less than a week! I was so impressed with the quality of the jacket and the seller that I will be ordering a leather jacket for myself! FYI: when ordering, use the sizing chart, it is extremely helpful!!
