purchased on 29th august , the watch is great I loved it , until19th November when the battery stopped taking charge, tried new cables etc , also reset and battery is definitely died its death, such a shame

Terrible app, non existent support. Very very frustrating to use and live with. Can't get a line graph of your days heart rate which is normally a basic thing. Daily summary screen is a total waste of space. Log a 32 mins stair stepper work out and it records it as 10min 08 secs aerobic but Daily summary says 0 min aerobic. I've included the pictures so you can get an idea of the frustration. Go to bed at 2030 but watch insists you went to bed at 2300, can't manually override it . Same with workouts. Everyone has Forgotten to end a session so why not let you edit the time in app afterwards . I've told redmi this through the feedback form 5 times but have yet to get a reply. I would not recommend anyone buys this watch purely for the rubbish app.

I've been wearing the watch for 2 days now. It was very easy to set up and so far, the battery life is excellent. I've not had chance to test out all the many features on the watch so will add to this review once I've done so. Initial thoughts are that it compares very favourably with high end Garmin devices I've had in the past and so far in really pleased with both the look, wearability and wide range of features available. Well worth the money.

Everything seems to work ok not as good as Fitbit Sense but not anywhere near the same price got it for fifty odd quid in an offer.

Bit disappointed really. It was a complete nightmare trying to get my pixel phone to connect fully to the watch, had to return it. The watch itself looked great and was pretty good value. The Mi app was less good and was part of the problem being a 3rd party app and pixel being security minded

UK Buyers beware. You cannot measure distance in miles. I contacted Xiaomi and they asked the i.t department and there was nothing they can do. Sadly I had to return the watch. Nice watch but I grew with Imperial measurements, and it is a shame they can not do this.

Update: battery life has doubled after 3 weeks without me changing any of the settings. Initially I was seeing 10-12% drain per day now I am only seeing 5-6% per day! Which means I should be getting 16 to 20 days between charges! Apparently the watch calibrates itself and learns to optimise its battery usage once it has been exposed to a couple of weeks usage! This watch is incredible value for money, the watch is sleek, well made, the screen is as large and as bright as they get and the UI is one of the best there is. Battery life is good too, I get 7 days easily with pretty much everything switched on including always on display. I use an iPhone and I was surprised at how well these two pair up and work. I can even take calls on my watch, something I did not expect at all. Notifications are shown in a clear way, it does not display WhatsApp emojis and you cannot reply from the watch, but that’s not a deal breaker for me personally. The iOS companion app is fairly ok, it just seems to glitch every now and again but that could be due to iOS itself and its built in limitations when it comes to the API. This watch is perfect for the and more than enough for the casual user. it shows notifications, it can track the essential parameters such as sleep time, HR, SPO2, steps etc. fairly accurately. There are more powerful watches out there with more whistles and bells but they cost 3 to 5 times as much and you would not get 3 to 5 times more value. If you are seriously into fitness, outdoor pursuits, bio-tracking etc. then this watch will disappoint you, otherwise, this is as good as it gets.

Mine never arrived, or someone took it before I could get it :( Bought one second hand for cheaper and its pretty good. Can't install apps or send messages, but calls work well.
