Looked great for the price point
Bought this for my daughter because overall the reviews looked good and it looked like a good entry level type of RC car. Plus it is pink which is her favorite color. Overall it looked sturdy enough and tough enough for her to race around with my hyper go dune buggy. So, package arrives, open up, charge the batteries and turn it on. With thin 5 minutes of use, bumped into a tree branch laying on the ground and the steering cervo arm that connects the control arms to the servo breaks in half. Completely rendering the steering unusable. For the money paid I expected some areas to be a little less sturdy than a more expensive model but for something like this to break so easily, especially with the speed turned to it lowest and it litterly bumped the branch, is in my opinion, unacceptable. I've had 20 dollar walmart rc cars that were more sturdy. Had this not happened I would have given 5 stars as for the other 4 minutes of use it was fast, fun, plowed through grass and claimed over loose dirt with ease. Would not recommend this for anyone unless you plan to completely upgrade it. At that point though, it would be better to get a more expensive model that has more robust internals :::update::: Customer service reached out to me due to my review to fix the situation. They were very courteous and immediately offered a replacement and allowed me to keep the broken one as well. The replacement arrived today and we are looking forward to having fun with the truck. The customer service alone is top knotch with these company. So even if something unfortunate happens like in my case, they will swiftly reach out and rectify the situation. For this I have changed my rating from 1 star to 5 stars because of the customer service alone, the replacement is a bonus at this point

Great deal and awesome addition to any collection of Rc's
This is a Outstanding truck for several reasons. It handles great at top speed. As well as extremely controllable in slower maneuvers. It's perfect to catch the interest of females new to the hobby. The truck is tough as nails, complimenting the amazing design of DeeRc's products. Creativity and a little effort, goes along way. Enjoy your free time with a DeeRc truck or three. Maybe even 4 or 5 it's enough fun for everyone.🏁💯🏁

Fun truck for the price but it's just on the edge of being considered a hobby grade truck
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter. She's been getting into rc cars with me a lot lately and she specifically wanted a pink 4x4 truck. It's a good truck for her. It is fairly quick and it's powerful enough to run it on rough terrain. Its actually larger than I thought it would be. Its nice that it comes with two batteries, I'm not sure why deerc uses these weird proprietary battery packs but they're included. The drivetrain is pretty smooth and the 4wd system is nice. Tires are grippy and suspension is fine. The body shell seems pretty sturdy. I bought this truck while it was on sale so it was a really good price. I think it was under 70 dollars with a coupon. This truck walks the line between a hobby grade rc car and a toy grade. The important drivetrain components are metal which is good, the coils are metal, but nearly every other component is plastic. Which is not actually a bad thing, and to be totally honest, this truck doesn't get up to fast enough speeds to worry about breaking components too easily. And even though they're made of plastic the parts do seem adequately strong. It is a brushed motor doing the work but that's all you need for something like this. It has plenty of power to run around your yard or the park, etc. The steering radius is kind of larger than you'd expect for a hobby rc car with two differentials but they're not bad. The biggest gripe I have is the transmitter is super cheap and not that great to use. I mean it works but it's incredibly cheap. But on the flip side it is a cheap rc car so I guess I can't complain too much. I wouldn't buy it for myself and an RC car enthusiast would probably be disappointed, but for a kid getting into the hobby this will be a good start.

Fun and Fast, but has some opportunities!
So this was my first RC since I was a kid. Overall for what you get it was a great value! It is zippy, but I dunno if it really lives up to the 48 kmph claim. It was fast, but didn't seem that fast. And the speed does go down as the battery depletes. But it comes with 2 batteries! It had good power to drive through grass, even steep inclines, as well as hop a curb when I was playing with it. It only has 1 charger though and no charging brick. So make sure you have a USB-A charger to use with it. And don't lose the cord. It only comes with 1 and it looks proprietary. Wish it was USB-C. The base seems solid, but the plastic body is quite flimsy. Which I get, to reduce weight. Just be careful how you pick it up and hold it. The instructions are a bit lacking. 2 pages of "how to use" and the rest parts list and warnings. One thing it doesn't call out and confused me was where the battery goes. I thought it was on the bottom just flipping the RC over, but you have to remove 4 cotter pins and pull the entire body off. It's easy, but for me (and maybe I'm just not used to RCs now a days) it wasn't intuitive nor mentioned in the instructions. Overall, there are some things that could be better, but for the money, I can't complain!

Great beginner RC car that will not disappoint
My family is all about remote control cars. So when my daughter was finally big enough we shopped to find her what would be her 1st rc car. I came across this One and was like this is perfect and the color she would love. Fast forward to Easter because that’s when she got it. Oh my goodness this little thing has soooo much power and is super fast. It def did not disappoint. I know it’s not the top of the line ex car but it’s decent. The only thing I didn’t like was that the steering could be a little better it’s not horrible but it’s also not the greatest. This rc car did hold up pretty well considering being used by a 3yr old. The battery did last a good amount of time and it also comes with an extra battery which is def great considering the price of the car. Would recommend as a beginner car.

I am absolutely thrilled with this DEERC RC truck! The 1:10 scale and 4X4 design make it perfect for both kids and adults who want a high-speed, durable RC vehicle. It reaches an impressive 48+ KM/H and the all-terrain capability means it can handle anything from grass to gravel without missing a beat. The bright pink color adds a fun touch too! The only downside is that the car body material feels a bit weak, so it might not withstand rough impacts. But the speed and performance more than make up for it. Plus, the two modular batteries provide extra long playtime, making it perfect for outdoor adventures. Definitely worth the investment for hobbyists!

I ordered this with my grandchildren in mind but there’s nothing to stop me having a bit of a play with it in the meantime (hopefully the neighbours won’t see me!). I have used 1/10 remote control model cars with my grandchildren previously so had a fair idea what to do in setting them up by removing the body in order to place the battery in the truck once it is charged. The truck gets up to a good speed, handles bumps well and is reasonably responsive to the controls. It’s a good toy with which to have fun with the grandkids.

Tough little truck. Put it through its paces at the local bmx dirt jumps - heaps of fun! ground was a little muddy and it took a good few knocks without incident. Cleaning the chassis wasn't as tedious as I thought it would be when compared to the fun in the dirt. The RC's components' quality are better than what one would expect for an RC car at this price point. Of equal fun was making donuts on the polished concrete flooring of the underground car park at work. I liked that clip fasteners are mounted on the the plastic body (the cosmetic covering over the chassis) which prevent them from getting lost. The accessories provided and spares were a welcome addition.

This is probably the most fun item I’ve received through the Amazon Vine program. The RC truck is impressively fast — so much so that I had to reduce the speed when using it in my small backyard. It's a good size for both kids and adults, and it’s perfect for outdoor play with the family. The build quality is decent for the price point. While higher-end models might use more metal components, this one feels durable enough to handle jumps and bumps without worry. I love that it comes with two modular batteries to extend playtime, and the included spare parts and tools are a nice bonus. The front headlights make night-time play fun, though I do wish it had tail lights too. The controller feels solid for this price range, though it does require separate AA batteries. Charging is via USB-A, which is convenient. All in all, this is a fantastic and fun RC truck — tough enough for casual bashing and fast enough to impress. Highly recommended!

I bought this RC truck for some weekend fun with my nephew, and it quickly became a favorite for both of us. Right out of the box, it was easy to set up and the build quality feels rock solid. We take it to the local park and it handles everything, from grassy fields to gravel paths, without breaking a sweat. The battery life is impressive; we easily get close to 30 minutes per charge, and the backup battery keeps the fun going. The speed is thrilling, but what really stood out was the control, it responds smoothly and accurately, even at high speeds. I also appreciate the waterproofing since we’ve splashed through puddles with no issues. The bold black-pink design is surprisingly cool and makes it easy to spot. Overall, it’s a fantastic mix of durability, power, and control that makes it perfect for casual weekend races or just outdoor fun.
