Q: Are there product approvals for using this product in Florida?

Are you speaking of NOA approvals for building code? I never looked for that, but I have 4 of these gates on my fence line in Port Saint Lucie, FL. A 10' gate, an 8' gate, a 5' gate, and a 4 1/2' gate. The inspector thouroughly inspected my fence and never once made mention of the gates at all. I'm on the east side of US1 and must build to the stronger wind code for hurricanes. I can also tell you that I had zero damage to my fence or gates during the recent hurricane and many fences and gates at my neighbors houses went down.

Not sure what you mean by rails. The photos are exactly what the frame looks like. If you don’t see three rails then there is not 3 rails.

Q: Can you use the cable for adjustment even after the boards are installed, or should you make the cable adjustment before installing the boards ?

On mine I left about 1/8" to 3/16" spaces between the vertical boards. I am able to tighten or loosen the cable turnbuckle to adjust the squareness of the gate so it hangs correctly. I hope this information is of help. Keith
