Louise DeMasi, an excellent online art instructor, bought this recently and recommended it to her followers. This light is a game changer. My art table where I paint has a window right in front of it but unfortunately, it’s a northern exposure so it doesn’t produce much light for me. I’ve been supplementing that by using a table lamp plus a 54” tall OttLite that I’d angle toward my painting area, but even that combo was not ideal. Enter the Lumi Task Lamp. The first time I turned it on I was really startled at how nice and bright it is. It’s wide so it casts light over a broad area of your work space. It’s just a joy to use and makes painting a greater joy. Of course, it could be used for any craft, or other areas needing a good light. And yes, this is pricey but honestly, it’s worth it to me to finally have excellent lighting on my art table. I can totally imagine buying one or two more should I expand my arts & crafts space. Highly recommend.

The lamp has an easy t o use clamp so it can be moved just about anywhere. It offers 2 light settings and is great for use in my sewing room. The light does not cause glare, which makes it a great work light. Quality product, I would highly recommend.

When I research this lamp I knew I found the best light for my sewing room. It lasted 10 months and does not turn on anymore. How foolish I feel for spending all that money. I have contacted the seller and have not yet received a reply back. I really love how bright the light is and would love to buy another, but at the price just to have it stop working again is crazy to me.

this light is perfectly bright and far better than my CFL-based OttLite, the daylight 6k temperature is perfect for drawing or painting. It's relatively light for such a long reaching light and the design has a very good aesthetic with a wide light head that broadcasts well. Articulation is easy and intuitive and this lamp is a perfect fit for my Mayline drafting table. The cost is prohibitive for those on a budget but if you can afford it I'd recommend it. Edit - 07/29/21 - I have now purchased three of these lights for my studio because they are the best I've found.

I would say this is money well spent this lamp or task lamp as they call it lights up my work area with a simulated daylight I can see my parts much better now the illuminate much clearer than before and some of my parts harm microscopic to say the least also this lamp is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination but as they say you pay for what you get and I can't go out and buy new eyes so spend the money on the lamp and you can bring the lamp to you and your work area which is really great and it has two settings one very right and one kind of medium which is more than enough you don't need 10,000 settings of light sometimes more choices are not good so I would recommend this lamp highly

I had purchased a Daylight Company Task Lamp many years ago and had replaced the tube lamp a few times over the years. Finally on longer able to find a replacement bulb, and wanted another long lasting lamp, so I purchased this one. I really liked it until this year when it started turning off randomly. Now it only stays on for a short time and switches itself off. I am thinking it has a thermostat that switches it off if the components get too warm. Well there is no way to fix the problem, and for the price paid for this brand I would expect better quality and longer life span. Totally disappointed as it is past their 2 year warranty period. Now I am stuff with an expensive part-time lamp at my desk.

By far, this beats the Ott Lights. I can’t imagine a better light. The mechanism glides easily to different positions. Get it to the exact angle needed. Clamps and stays in position also. We have two of them. Will never buy sort lights again.
