Rubie's Batman Deluxe Muscle Chest Child's Costume

The kid wanted to be Batman this year. I was kind of over all the Dark Knight style Batman costumes. Of course I'm the rare person who actually loved BatCloon. I also didn't want a costume that looked cheap. I knew I couldn't get a cosplay level costume but I also knew Rubies has always made really amazing products so I felt really confident choosing this amazing vintage Batman costume. And I was right. It turned out to be SO awesome. The costume fit really well and looks like he may be able to wear it again next year. It was a hit at his dad's work. The mask is attached to the cape and the mask fit really well where he could breathe well and see well which was a must. I wanted him to be comfortable. The feet have a strap to put around your shoe so it stays secure and isn't a tripping hazard. All in all, we were absolutely thrilled with this costume and hope to use it for future conventions as well as next Halloween.

This costume was and still is a phenomenal choice for a young boys costume. My son was in love with batman so he chose to be him when he was almost 3. and he looked stellar, and he wore the costume- I'm not kidding almost everyday for siz monthes and the costume held up- it is made of great quality and will not fail you! And the muscles omg they will just make you melt! Any other batman costume with no muscle chest will look sad in comparison. sometimes my son just wore the mask or just the cape or the two together but when a two year old is so excited that he is getting himself dressed into a costume all by himself- you know its a winner. BY the way, my son loved it so much that we ended up buying the same costume the very next year in a size up!! AND after that, we ended up creating a superhero roman with batman fatheads all over- so beware it could create a new super hero crazed little man of your own!

This is by far the best "blue batman" costume we've ever seen. Excellent quality, and the muscles and mask are awesome. The belt is sewn on and is a thick sturdy rubber material. The cape and mask are one piece, which is convenient for my toddler, and makes for a seamless look. My son is a short 4 year old, and the suggested size we ordered was spot on. The boots fit well over tennis shoes. My boy has worn this everyday since we ordered it, and it's keeping up well. Great job on this product! Definitely recommend.

My 3-year old son loves this costume - he is so excited to be Batman. The fit is as expected, I purchased a toddler size and followed the size chart guidelines. Two things worth mentioning - the costume snags easily so be very careful with the Velcro. I have not washed it but I would recommend washing it alone so no other Velcro snags it in the wash. My son has already had the costume on twice however, and it still looks great. The belt is a large yellow plastic piece that is attached to the costume. It looks cute however, on either side, part of it extends (not secured to the costume). There is a fabric piece on the belt so I simply added a few stitches on each side to secure it to the body of the costume and around my son's waist. I enjoy sewing so I did not mind doing this. However, I thought it was worth mentioning as I know not everyone would want to do this and for anyone ordering close to Halloween, this may not be desirable. All the pieces were in the packaging as expected (suit, cape and hat are one piece) I think it is worth the price, I have seen this costume for $35 on other sites so I was pleased to pay on $26 and change.

The suit is pretty good. The small fits my tall almost five year old well. But the mask/cap is too “short”. The mask part hardly comes to midpoint of the length of his nose, hence, the eye holes are too high. The lower half of his eyes are covered. But what really bother me is the belt. It’s a long piece of yellow fabric strip for you to manually tie a knot at the back. Little kids have no hips, unless you tie the belt real tight, it falls off to the floor. Worst off, the package photo shows a hard plastic belt! If you look at all the review photos, some kids got the plastic belts and some didn’t.

This costume appears to be a good value and quality. My 7year old son LOVES it! So That being said, my only issue is the sizing.... I originally ordered a size Med (8-10) and it was giant on him even though I used to provided size chart. Needless to say he was sad to know that he couldn't use it immediately. Anyway I returned it, ordered a small (4-6) and although it is a tight fit it is better. The two sizes are worlds apart and it almost seems as if there needs to be something int he middle of the two sizes. In the end Amazon was easy to return/exchange and we are ready for Halloween - early for a change! Happy Halloween!

Mein Sohn (6) hat dieses Kostüm sehr gerne getragen. Es fällt groß aus, was aber nicht weiter stört, da man das Oberteil mit dem Gürtel hochschoppen kann. Dann passt es im nächsten Jahr auch noch ;-) Ein Nachteil könnte sein, dass es sich um einen Overall handelt. Das heisst für den kleinen Träger, man muss frühzeitig zur Toilette gehen und jemanden bitten, das Kostüm hinten zu öffnen. Ein Eingriff vorne wäre von Vorteil. Vielleicht mit Klett oder so. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Wollte es nur anmerken. Ansonsten gute Verarbeitung und zu empfehlen.

Bought this for my little guy and he absolutely loves it. The mask doesn’t fit very well but the rest of the costume fits perfectly.

This batman outfit is excellent quality, my 3 year old loves running around in it and it has taken a good hammering with no obvious signs of wear. The sizing is pretty accurate too - my boy is quite tall so we got an age 5 and that fits just fine. It's great that it's the original batman outfit, my kids love the old batman movie and my boy loves being batman. The cape fixes under the chin with a bit of velcro and the mask is attached to the cape. The mask itself is a bit small but it's ok if you pull it down over the face. Even the utility belt is good quality. I have had several rubie's costumes and they are always excellent quality - worth paying that bit extra for as they give hours of great play.
