These are more like 100/120, not 100/180
My preferred nail files are 180 grit, they get my keyboard/typing-length nails to the point where all they need is a bit more smoothing with a buffing block. Unfortunately, on these files the 180 grit side is way too course, it is much closer to a 120. I wanted plain white 180 nail files which would not leave any dark "grit" behind and without any ink masking usable surface. What I got is a lifetime supply of files for sanding down a filler & glue repair job or smoothing calluses on summer feet.Bottomline:I would not recommend if you want 180 grit files.GoToSally'sWhere you can see and touch what you are spending your money on.
