My dog loves this food. She is 12 and has more energy than other dogs half her age. I think she is aging in reverse! I’m glad we made the switch from kibble.

My cat is obsessed with these!! Buying the dog version is cheaper but it’s the exact same thing for cats. Great treat!

This is a very good quality freeze-dried raw food. My dog loves it, thinks it is tasty, fun and all. He'll stop whatever he's doing to get it, what makes it a great value treat for him. We're using it to training, including outside, and it works great. I am very glad with it.

My Goldendoodle puppy is almost 10 months old and has been eating these (along with other things) since I got him at 2 months. I've just purchased my 4th bag. These are pricy and the price keeps going up. Initially, I was only using them as treats but as he grew older he became more picky about food. I use these in his meals when he does overnight stays at the pet hotel because I know he will be more likely to eat this. I have tried the other products from Vital Essentials and my puppy likes most of them (order: Duck Treat, Beef Liver Treat, Rabbit Entree, Chicken Entree, Beef and Chicken Entree). These have a slightly gamey smell to them and a crunchy texture. I hope the price does not continue to rise or this won't be affordable.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: All my animals love it! Rabbit is supposed to be good for dogs with skin allergies. I started these as treats along with a frozen raw whitefish food and my bulldogs skin is so much better! My cats got a treat by mistake and now they go crazy for them as well. Never been to cats to take food from my hands now they let me out these right into their mouths and scream out loud for them! Although pricey-worth the cost especially when used as treats!
